Cornea's Class AI puts 100+ teaching tools on its interactive panel
Cornea's Class AI software adds more than 100 teaching tools. Pune-based Cornea, an OEM on the GeM portal, presents its products under the theme "One Brand for Every Display Need," which could appeal to schools and government buyers who want one supplier.

Key facts, context, and what it means.
Key takeaways
Cornea positions itself as a single source for hardware, software and AI-enabled AV infrastructure, with consolidation pitched as valuable for institutions fitting out rooms in batches.
For buyers already standardized on a conferencing or audio brand, how well a new panel fits the installed gear matters more than a single-brand classroom stack.
Signal to watch: whether the AIO PC, the Orator lectern and the new panel appear as orderable GeM listings, and at what price.

Cornea says it wants to be a single source for hardware, software and AI-enabled AV infrastructure across education, corporate, government and institutional sectors. The company showed its products under the theme "One Brand for Every Display Need," according to its announcement distributed through ANI. For a school or government department that fits out rooms in batches, that kind of consolidation could matter more than any single spec.
Inside the new flat panel
The panel runs Android 16 on an octa-core processor, with a 4K screen, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of storage, EDLA certification, zero-bonding construction and up to 50 touch points. Optional builds add an integrated camera of up to 50MP and a 10-array microphone. Cornea says these configurations are built to suit diverse collaboration requirements.
Those figures give a procurement team something concrete to set against the panels already on its approved list. Screen sizes, brightness, ports and pricing weren't in the release, so those still have to come from Cornea's sales team.

A teaching assistant built into the screen
Cornea Class AI is where the company is trying to stand apart. It bundles more than 100 tools: automated lesson planning, AI-generated assessments, instant lesson sharing over WhatsApp, an AI Pen that works in 196 languages, and a library of more than 30,000 interactive 3D models.
Look at the design choices. Instant WhatsApp lesson sharing could suit teachers who already use the messaging app. And bundling assessments with lesson planning puts both on the same screen the teacher is standing next to.
Before a Class AI pilot, ask Cornea where lesson and assessment data is processed and stored, and whether the school or the vendor controls it. The answer shapes who signs off on the rollout.
The GeM route into institutions
Cornea describes itself as an OEM on the GeM portal, serving institutions, enterprises, corporate offices and government bodies across India. The company says its products are in more than 20,000 classrooms, with on-site support across more than 14,000 pin codes.
That reach is the practical case for a one-brand bundle. For departments buying through GeM, where Cornea is listed as an OEM, on-site support across that many pin codes could carry as much weight as the product itself. Founded in 2017, Cornea points to its domestic manufacturing capabilities, and its catalog runs from TVs and smart tablets to PTZ cameras, LED video walls, kiosks and VR devices.
Director Ankit Garg said the company used the show to meet the dealers, distributors, AV integrators and business decision-makers who shape India's Pro AV market. His other aim was to present the full range, from smart classrooms and VR labs to conferencing and signage, as a single ecosystem under one brand.
That dependence on partners is also where the one-brand pitch meets its limit. For buyers already standardized on a conferencing or audio brand, how well a new panel fits the installed gear matters more than a single-brand classroom stack.
A bigger floor with money behind it

A domestic maker with a government procurement listing is well placed with Indian institutional buyers, provided its bundle holds up against global panels on price and fit.
The next test is on the GeM portal itself: whether the AIO PC, the Orator lectern and the new panel appear there as orderable listings, and at what price. Cornea says it is expanding its partner network across India. How often those partners quote Class AI alongside the hardware will show whether the software is what sells the screen.
