From phone to Studio

Capture it.
Text it.
Keep it moving.

Useful footage often happens between planned productions: a quick explanation, a customer question, a demonstration on the show floor. Text to Upload gives that material a place in your shared content workflow while the moment is still fresh.

Sometimes called Text to Post, this feature creates an upload in Studio. Your team decides how to edit, approve, share, or publish it from there.

  1. 01 / CONNECT ONCE

    Verify your phone.

In Studio, open your profile settings and find Phone number. Add your supported mobile number, agree to the messaging terms, and enter the verification code.

  2. 02 / SEND THE MOMENT

    Text your media.

Send a photo or short video to the Studio upload number shown in your settings. If more than one eligible channel is available, choose the destination when prompted.

  3. 03 / GIVE IT CONTEXT

    Title it. Get the link.

Reply with a title, then add a useful comment or send SKIP. Studio uploads the media and sends a link. Open it to review the result and follow your channel’s approval process.

Available to members with upload permission in enabled channels, after phone verification. Messaging availability depends on your phone and region. Message and data rates may apply.

A contribution is the beginning

One text.
A whole team
can take it further.

Your upload becomes media in Studio, organized under Text to Upload and your name. Your comment travels with it, so the next person understands what they are looking at.

When your channel uses an approval inbox, the media waits there for review. After the right checks, your team can request an edit, prepare content for sharing, and choose where to publish.

Plans and access

Start with capture.
Choose your
production support.

Text to Upload follows your Studio channel’s settings and your permission to upload. Your MarketScale plan determines the workspace, production capacity, and support around that contribution.

Compare Free Edition, Basic, Scale, Business, and Riserva on the pricing page. Confirm your channel’s Text to Upload access with our team. Carrier message and data rates may apply.

Before you send

The practical
details.

Is Text to Post the same as Text to Upload?

Text to Post is another name people use for this capture workflow. In MarketScale Studio, the feature is called Text to Upload. Photos and videos become media in your Studio channel; sending a text does not publish them to your website or social accounts.

What do I need before I send my first text?

A Studio account with permission to upload into an enabled channel, a supported mobile number, and a verified phone connection. Open your profile settings, find Phone number, and follow the verification steps. Use the Studio upload number shown there.

Does the media still go through approval?

Your channel’s existing approval settings apply. When the approval inbox is enabled, the uploaded media waits there for review. Channels without that inbox follow their existing behavior. Publishing and social sharing are separate steps.

Can I use an iPhone or Android phone?

Studio supports iMessage and SMS/MMS workflows, depending on the messaging service enabled for your account. Follow the phone setup screen for the available route and supported region. If setup says iMessage only, use an iPhone with iMessage enabled.

What if my video is too large to text?

Phone messaging services can compress media or impose attachment limits. Text photos and short clips. For long recordings, large files, or footage where original quality matters, use the Upload option inside Studio.

How does Text to Upload relate to pricing?

Text to Upload access depends on your channel settings and upload permissions. The pricing page explains the workspace, production capacity, and support for each plan. Confirm your channel’s access with the MarketScale team. Message and data rates may apply.
