Cognizant (Nasdaq: CTSH) and Snowflake used the stage at Snowflake Summit 26 on June 3 to announce an expanded collaboration built around the Snowflake CoCo platform, with both companies targeting the persistent gap between enterprise AI experimentation and full-scale production deployment.

Why the pilot-to-production gap matters

Most large enterprises have run AI pilots, yet many remain unable to operationalize those experiments at scale due to legacy infrastructure, fragmented data environments, and the difficulty of embedding AI into day-to-day business workflows. Cognizant's AI Builder strategy is designed to address those friction points by connecting AI platforms, domain expertise, and workflow-centric design. The goal, according to the company, is to compress the full AI lifecycle, from semantic model generation and agent orchestration through to governed analytics and streamlined validation, into a timeline that traditional delivery models cannot match.

When the data foundation is AI-ready and business context is built in, build cycles collapse. That is exactly what Cognizant's AI Builder approach delivers, and with Snowflake CoCo, we are putting production-grade AI into enterprise workflows in hours, not weeks., Naveen Sharma, Senior Vice President and Practice Head, AI & Analytics, Cognizant

Scale of the CoCo deployment

Cognizant reports that CoCo has expanded to more than 2,250 users across its labs and client environments, with over 30 enterprise use cases now fully operationalized. The firm has delivered more than 260 hours of enablement, developed 12 or more custom CoCo skills, and built over 90 revenue-ready accelerators, collectively supporting more than 1.3 million AI-driven requests, according to the announcement.

Cognizant was also named Snowflake's 2026 CoCo Catalyst Partner of the Year for Impactful Customer Story alongside its designation as a Preferred Launch Partner for the platform. Both recognitions signal a deepening commercial relationship between the two firms as enterprises increase spending on agentic AI infrastructure.

Enterprises are at a key moment in their AI journey, where success depends on the ability to move from experimentation to real, scalable impact. Our collaboration with Cognizant brings together the power of the CoCo platform with deep industry and workflow expertise to help organizations operationalize AI faster, turning data into decisions and driving meaningful business outcomes at scale., Amy Kodl, SVP, Worldwide Alliances & Channels, Snowflake

A+E Global Media: 200 hours reclaimed in ad operations

A+E Global Media offers a concrete illustration of the partnership's commercial output. Cognizant deployed a conversational analytics agent built on Snowflake CoCo to automate the handling of Creative Airing Logs, a previously manual, multi-step process that required significant effort from Commercial Operations and Legal & Business Affairs teams. The agent allowed business users to query data in natural language, investigate trafficking discrepancies flagged by agencies, and generate ad-hoc reports on problematic product categories.

The deployment helped A+E Global Media reclaim approximately 200 hours of manual effort while also reducing labor costs and accelerating decision cycles, according to Cognizant's announcement. The Cortex agent handled SQL authoring, data quality validation, and exploratory analysis, tasks that had previously required developer involvement.

Broader client outcomes across industries

Cognizant cited several additional client results tied to CoCo deployments across analytics, contract intelligence, compliance automation, financial workflows, and anomaly detection. Reported outcomes include up to 70% effort reduction for a global biopharma leader, approximately $85,000 in annual savings and 1,300 hours reclaimed for a sports and entertainment company, and a 99% reduction in change-impact analysis time for a North American telecom provider.

  • Up to 70% effort reduction, global biopharma leader
  • ~$85K in annual savings and 1,300 hours reclaimed, sports and entertainment company
  • 99% reduction in change-impact analysis time, North American telecom provider
  • ~200 hours of manual effort reclaimed, A+E Global Media (advertising operations)

What comes next

Cognizant said it plans to deepen investment in industry-specific CoCo skills, pre-built agent templates, and cross-platform orchestration capabilities as enterprises look to scale agentic AI programs on governed foundations. The company's AI & Analytics practice, which combines AI engineering, domain expertise, and ecosystem platform integrations, will serve as the primary delivery vehicle for expanded CoCo engagements. The timeline for new use-case releases was not disclosed in the announcement.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says Chip Sales Could Double Next Year—If the Supply Chain Can Keep Up

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang Says Chip Sales Could Double Next Year—If the Supply Chain Can Keep Up

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang forecasted doubling chip sales next year, but the company's CFO frames this as the supply-unconstrained scenario, signaling that supply chain capacity—not demand—is the real constraint. Nvidia and Palantir announced a collaboration to apply AI to Nvidia's own supply chain operations to identify bottlenecks and allocate materials more effectively.

  • 01Nvidia's doubling forecast depends on supply chain throughput, not demand—the company itself is supply constrained according to CFO Colette Kress.
  • 02Nvidia and Palantir said their first sovereign AI deployment for Nvidia’s operations is designed to spot supply constraints earlier and improve how materials are allocated across production.
  • 03Enterprise buyers should plan for competitive allocation pressure, higher networking and infrastructure costs alongside GPU spending, and the emergence of on-premises architectures as first-class options.

Fifth Third, Priority and CSI deals put a premium on payments built into software

Fifth Third, Priority and CSI deals put a premium on payments built into software

Fifth Third led a strategic investment in Payload, Priority Commerce agreed to acquire IntelliPay, and CSI acquired Qolo in a series of summer transactions, PYMNTS reported. Together, the deals point to buyers valuing payments technology already integrated into the software customers use, not just standalone processing capacity. For operators, that means the entity holding payment data can change hands without the front-end software changing.

  • 01BCG says SaaS providers with integrated payments accounted for 36% of small and midsize business acquiring revenue in 2024 and projects that share will reach 45% by 2028.
  • 02Finance and IT leaders using property, practice management or utility billing platforms should reread payments and data clauses, since the entity holding payment data can change hands even if the software front end does not.

System integrators shape whether factory tech pays off, Smart Industry argues

System integrators shape whether factory tech pays off, Smart Industry argues

Smart Industry’s Sept. 9, 2026 piece argues plant technology creates no business value until system integrators fit it into existing systems, operations and workflows. Related summer coverage highlights upskilling, institutional knowledge and technician demand alongside the same integration-and-deployment theme. The framing shifts attention from which platform to buy to who implements it and how the engagement is scoped.

  • 01Smart Industry's framing moves the buying question from which platform to license to who integrates it and how that engagement is scoped, which puts the system integrator line item at the center of the return rather than in implementation overhead.
  • 02Gartner figures cited by Quality Magazine show 24% of industrial enterprises using IoT have implemented digital twins and 42% plan to, suggesting most IoT-using plants still have digital twin integration work ahead.
  • 03The Deloitte and Manufacturing Institute report, as covered by Smart Industry, says AI can embed skills into workflows to address technician demand; the sharper question for a plant manager is whether that changes headcount or changes what each technician can cover.
