Here's how I Pickup Point self-service e commerce center allows shoppers to self checkout when they buy online and return in store. First, a customer fills out a return form. Next, the online return is entered into the retailer's OMS system. The customer receives a QR code on their phone. At the store, the customer approaches the I Pickup point system and scans their QR code. They are prompted to take an eye clip from the docking station, clip it to their return, and place it anywhere on the smart shelf.
