Who says an old dog can’t learn new tricks? The thing we all need to keep in mind, regardless of age, most if not all of us are creators in some capacity. We each hang up the working hat when we go home every day, we’re sharing photos of our grandkids on Facebook or posting a video about that awesome Blackstone grill we just put in the backyard on TikTok.
We fail to remember that we can create and influence in our professional lives, social media influence is real and incredibly effective. I enjoyed this week’s edition of B2B Weekly because it’s a great reminder that those who may be less technologically savvy have years of knowledge and expertise in their field, it needs to be unlocked to educate the community and the younger generation. Ron Stefanski from this episode is a great example, someone who has spent 40+ years in the education space, he’s started a podcast with nearly 20k followers.
You can achieve the same thing by creating episodic and thought leading content that educates and inspires your communities.
