Welcome. I'm with Karen Clay Basel, Chief Learning Officer at Johnson Controls, and this is just a tremendous opportunity to kind of share not only our experience, but really the shared impact for the wait or purpose for Johnson Controls. So, Karen, thanks for joining me for a couple of minutes. Thank you, Jack. Or welcome. So, first question, what was the critical challenge strategic need for Johnson Controls learning to focus on this one learning initiative. Why was that critical for you but also GCI? Yeah, thanks Jack. Johnson controls was striving with one learning to really create a learning culture that was having a profound impact on our business and a measurable impact on our business. And so what it was really about for us, we had a strong learning function, but it was about really harnessing all of the learning expertise toward a common set of objectives, measurements, and impact for Johnson controls that could drive us toward creating a stronger culture around learning. Fantastic. Why was it critical for you beyond the great work you're already doing When it comes to our working relationship and total solutions group, why was it important for you to have not just an extra vendor, but why us? Yeah, you know, Jack, you and the TSG team were such a great partner for us because you brought the tools and frameworks that allowed us to validate all of our strategies and approaches and we can we put it through your frameworks and really validated and refine and hone what we already had that was good. And then you helped us get clear about the value proposition for all of our stake holders, employees, customers, executives, you know, and ultimately Johnson controls shareholders. So the tools and the processes we went through really helped us get very clear about what what were we doing that was creating value and how and helped us to articulate that to the different stakeholders and customers. And that was a huge value add for us the part that TSG also added was around helping us focus on execution and ensure that our plans were clearly lined up to the strategy, really testing and and ensuring that alignment was very strong. So the TSG team definitely enhanced that connection of the strategy to the execution and then poke tying it back with the metrics piece. So Definitely a huge value add through that partnership. That's appreciate that because that alignment is often forgotten. You get something done, And then, wait, how do we really embed this? Where it's hardwired, not just beautiful bind or something in the wall? Thank you. That's awesome. Talk about the impact of now one learning today. So, from that and all the great leadership you and your global team certainly had, Where is it sitting out today as a result with the future ahead of you? Yeah, thanks Jack. I'm thrilled to say that we're on the other side of the learning transformation. Which is a great place to be and very satisfying. And certainly the partnership with TSG helped us get there. As far as impact, you know, we can really be proud to say that we transform the learning function that we have a very clear structure governance model, measurement strategy, process, and that we're able to articulate to our customers the impact of what we're doing. And and so we feel really buttoned up as far as how we're supporting Johnson controls as a business be able to articulate our role and how we're creating value through our work with the company and and around learning and development and our customers know what that value is. And so that's that's really amazing to get to that point where you know, your customers really know what you're doing for them. It's not you reminding them all the time. Here's what we're doing, but there's a pull and there's a constant constant requests for more, more work, more value creation because we've articulated and demonstrated how we can help the company grow and deliver quality programs. That is fantastic. Last question, I appreciate this. Why why would you recommend THD to others in a way that certainly is relevant for them, not just doing so to do so. Why would you recommend? Yeah, I think TSG is really a thought leader in being able to dissect and analyze learning function no matter where you are on your maturity curve, but being able to partner with TSG allowed us to take a good look at validating things that were strong and looking for opportunities to refine processes, refine strategy, articulate a clear value proposition to our stakeholders. It really took our learning function to the next level through that partnership. The time and grace you've given today is so appreciated. Thank you so much for the time. This was fantastic.
