Seamus Egan, a representative from TMGcore, showcased the company’s innovative high-performance computing platform, known as “EB X”, at the AFCEA West Conference in San Diego. Amidst displays of groundbreaking technologies, including autonomous helicopters and cutting-edge submarines, TMGcore’s EB X platform stood out as a unique solution designed to enhance high-density computing efficiency and reduce operational noise.

The Problem: Traditional high-density computing systems typically struggle with energy inefficiency and high decibel levels due to air-cooled techniques. These challenges have often limited their deployment in situations where power availability is limited or where noise can be a disturbance, such as in tactical edge deployments.

The Solution: TMGcore’s EB X platform was designed to address these issues. Known for its extreme energy efficiency, the system reportedly achieves a Power Usage Effectiveness (PUE) of just 1.03. This marks a significant stride forward in energy management for high-density computing, allowing the EB X to run even the most power-intensive enterprise-class servers. Additionally, unlike many high-performance computing systems that generate a lot of noise during operation, the EB X platform operates silently.

The Outcome: By unveiling the EB X platform at the AFCEA West Conference, TMGcore demonstrated its commitment to solving key challenges associated with traditional high-performance computing systems. The energy efficiency and silent operation of this new platform could potentially redefine the deployment of high-density computing, particularly in environments where energy is at a premium or noise is a concern. The long-term impact of this technological breakthrough will become clearer as the platform sees more widespread adoption and use. Nevertheless, the initial unveiling at the conference underscored TMGcore’s ongoing commitment to pioneering advanced and effective computing solutions.

Hi. This is Shamus here at the FC West Conford Center at San Diego. There's been lots of really, really cool technology here. From autonomous helicopters to next generation submarines. And in the middle of all of that is our t m g four's next generation high performance compute platform. DAR EBS. So, what's different about our platform? Our platform at the NABALS, I as compute to operate a tactical edge about the system is designed to be highly energy efficient, so we've got a p lee of one point zero three, we could take the highest density enterprise class servers and and rut them inside of our platform. Yeah. Additionally, what you'll notice about this platform is it's completely silent That's one of the reasons probably why a lot of the the systems aren't actually operating live here at the conference is is the the decibel level of this type of compute capability when it's operating at using the air cooled techniques.
