Project Manager roles have continued to grow in recent years and technology has empowered PMs to provide more insight into each project phase, making problem-solving and critical thinking the most valuable ability for project managers to possess. There are many ways that people can gain the crucial skills required of a project manager and according to Gerry Mecca, former CIO of Dr Pepper Seven-Up Bottling Group and former VP of IT for Keurig Dr Pepper, none are as effective as a PMP certification.
