In a Sept. 14 announcement carried by Business Wire, Neat said Zoho Cliq has joined the Neat Open Apps ecosystem and that Neat is Zoho Cliq’s first hardware partner, delivering a purpose-built experience for physical conference rooms.

Zoho Cliq on Neat devices provides a purpose-built meeting room experience that includes instant meetings, integrated scheduling, in-room engagement features, and an integrated waiting room, according to Business Wire. Neat said the integration runs across its Generation 2 device portfolio through Neat Open Apps and is centrally managed through Neat Pulse.

What’s included: one-tap starts, scheduling, and in-room controls on Neat

According to Business Wire, Zoho Cliq running on Neat devices is positioned as a purpose-built room experience with instant meeting start from the room device, integrated scheduling that ties meeting booking to reserving the physical room, in-room reactions and spotlighting, and an integrated waiting room for attendee control. Neat’s own story about the partnership describes the same room workflow and frames it as extending “the tools your teams already know and use” into shared spaces.

Zoho’s blog post announcing Zoho Cliq Rooms availability on Neat devices says that once Cliq Rooms is set up, users can walk into a meeting room, find the scheduled meeting on the device, and get started.

Where it runs and how it’s managed: Neat Open Apps on Gen 2, governed by Neat Pulse

Neat said the Zoho Cliq integration runs across its Generation 2 device portfolio through Neat Open Apps and is centrally managed through Neat Pulse, according to Business Wire. Neat’s own writeup repeats that architecture and positions Neat Open as the layer that brings cross-platform BYOD, business apps, AI Notes, and local wireless sharing together on the same device fleet.

Why this lands with operators: turning “what chat app do we use?” into a room-hardware decision

Neat and Zoho highlighted a geographic angle. Business Wire cited Zoho’s presence across “150+ global markets,” and Neat’s partnership story highlighted India in particular.

Channel and rollout signals: InfoComm India demos and a trade-press echo

Neat said it would demonstrate Zoho Cliq on Neat devices at InfoComm India 2026, Sept. 16, 18 at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai, booth E10, according to Business Wire and Neat’s story page.

According to UC Advanced, Zoho Cliq has joined the Neat Open Apps ecosystem, and Neat is the first hardware partner to support Zoho Cliq.

What to watch next in real deployments

Neat’s App Hub page lists Zoho Cliq as available on Neat Bar Generation 2 and Neat Bar Pro, according to Neat.

End users made up 37% of InfoComm 2026's 28,132 attendees

End users made up 37% of InfoComm 2026's 28,132 attendees

AVIXA reports InfoComm 2026 drew 28,132 verified attendees from 94 countries to Las Vegas, with end users making up 37%. Microsoft and Cisco keynotes centered on AI agents for the meeting room. For enterprise workplace and IT teams, the June attendance mix and cross-platform AI pitches are timely as fall buying decisions approach.

  • 01A 37% end-user share at a pro AV trade show is a usable benchmark: more than one in three badges belonged to organizations that deploy the equipment, suggesting exhibitors may be demoing more directly to customers.
  • 02A sharper question to put to a collaboration vendor before the demo is which platform an AI meeting feature actually runs on. According to AVIXA, Cisco framed intelligent systems and open collaboration ecosystems as working across platforms including Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and Zoom, while Microsoft tied its voice agents to Teams Phone and Teams Rooms.
  • 03The 170-meter Cat5e reach BZBGEAR's Matt Richards cited to CE Pro for the XTREME-PRO, part of the XLink-ONE family that took Best of Show at InfoComm 2026 from AV Technology, is a manufacturer spec, not an independent test; for facilities with runs past 100 meters it is worth a bench check before fiber is designed out.

  • 01Nevco describes a sponsorship-funded streaming and scoring deployment across seven Smyrna fields, planned for fall 2026.

  • 03AV buyers should assess operating costs, sponsor obligations and measurable performance alongside the equipment.
