EDWARDSVILLE, IL, June 5, 2026 — Nevco Sports is proud to announce the completion of a comprehensive scoring and display installation at Central Methodist University, a nationally recognized NAIA program in Fayette, Missouri. Spanning two facilities on campus, Puckett Field House and Estes Baseball Field, the upgrades bring professional-level technology and a sharper fan experience to Eagles athletics.

A transformed indoor experience

Puckett Field House serves as home court for Eagles men’s & women’s basketball and wrestling, competitive cheer and dance, and women’s volleyball teams. The indoor venue now features a dual digital scoreboard setup that anchors both sides of the facility. On one end a 3.9mm Full Color True Pixel Video Display is mounted above a Nevco Model 2702 LED Scoreboard finished in forest green with white striping and bright white electronic digits.

Across the court, a matching Model 2770 LED Scoreboard is flanked by Model SD7-5 Stat Panels, giving athletes, coaches, and fans expanded real-time game data. Both scoreboards feature dynamic Electronic Team Names along with school-branded signage and sponsor signs displaying “Commercial Trust Company” below each. SSC-T5 Shot Clocks with integrated end-of-period lights mounted directly to the backboards round out a fully professional scoring environment.

Estes Field gets a new focal point

In addition to the indoor transformation, the home of the Eagles baseball was upgraded with a 12.6’H x 22.05’W 10mm Full Color LED Video Display that’s accented with a striking decorative arch truss and custom “Estes Field” sign featuring the university logo. A pair of 9630 Pitch Timer Clocks were also installed, ensuring that pitchers and batters comply with the pitch clock rules, helping to keep the game moving at a consistent pace.

The indoor and outdoor LED video displays provide Central Methodist University with a dynamic platform capable of transforming the overall fan experience across multiple athletic venues.

From live video and instant replays to animated graphics, real-time game data, sponsor recognition, and promotional content, the displays create a more immersive and engaging atmosphere for fans while delivering added versatility for athletic events, campus activities, and community engagement.

Built for Eagles Athletics

“These installations create exciting, high-energy environments that reflect the pride and tradition of Central Methodist University athletics,” said Josh Robbers, Senior Video Display Sales Consultant at Nevco.

“The new displays and scoring systems have completely transformed the atmosphere inside our facilities,” said Jeff Sherman, Athletic Director at Central Methodist University. “These upgrades not only enhance the experience for our fans and student-athletes but also showcase the continued growth and momentum of Central Methodist athletics.”

The result is a cohesive, modern athletic identity across both venues, reinforcing Central Methodist University’s position as a respected NAIA program committed to excellence on and off the field. These upgrades reflect the university’s continued investment in a next-level student-athlete experience while enhancing the atmosphere for fans, officials, and the broader campus community. As the trusted partner of the NAIA, Nevco brings championship-caliber technology to CMU’s facilities, ensuring that the same standard of display and scoring excellence found at the highest levels of NAIA competition is now embedded in the heart of Eagle athletics.
