We are currently on the Zugspitze, on the viewing terrace directly below the summit cross at 2960 meters. The Zugspitze, the "Top of Germany" is Germany's highest mountain, with its "Four countries panoramic view" with 400 Alps peaks in Germany, Austria, Italy and Switzerland. This is of course stunning! In summer and winter you have a view of up to 250 kilometers. In winter one still has the famous Kandahar Downhill, where the Alpine Ski World Cup is held every year. We have a total of in our company 60 kilometers of prepared pistes and numerous other events. A stable and secure network is extremely important to us. If the network doesn't work anymore, we can no longer sell tickets. The guests no longer come up the mountain because the access controls no longer work. Food can no longer be ordered in the restaurants. EC Cash devices no longer work, which of course means a loss of sales. It is therefore extremely important for us that the network is very stable and that no external sources can cause these problems. Through Extreme we managed to unify our network. Previously, we had different hardware from different manufacturers. That was always a problem. We have different configurations and different settings. By switching to Extreme, we had a uniform solution and were able to use the devices and also exchange the configuration one-to-one. The NAC solution also saves us a lot of time, since we can only bring devices approved for us into our network. And this usually happens fully automatically. The user connects to his port, the NAC automatically recognizes into which VLAN the device needs to be in and is therefore added automatically. We also bring additional security with the fabric solution and micro-segmentation Integrating security into our network environment. The setup and maintenance of the Bavarian Zugspitzbahn is mainly due to the exposed location of the individual stations. We have stations that are sometimes only accessible on foot in summer or under great circumstances. That's why we have to be able to rely on good hardware. We have climate conditions of plus 35 degrees (celsius) to sometimes -30 degrees (celsius) in winter and due to the thin air and the altitude The hardware has to run stably at almost 3000 meters. We already had a few manufacturers who couldn't stand the heights and climatic conditions here. We also have dedicated locations where we need switches with a special design. Management is also currently running on a console, which of course saves us time and money. In addition, due to the fabric solution and the partial to full automation of certain processes, it was extremely helpful to improve the operational process. In the coming months and years we will be in the process of further digitizing the company. We are currently in the process of installing new turnstiles to give our guests even easier access to our facilities. We are also in the process of further expanding the information system for our guests to give visitors even more, even faster, more targeted offers and information about the current facilities, the weather or special offers. In the area of employees, we are also in the process of installing a company-wide employee app. We are currently planning a digital invoice signature and the paperless office. These are simply the goals we have for the next few years and for that you simply need a stable and perfectly functioning network, which we currently have with Extreme. In any case, we will continue to work with Extreme and even expand the relationship. In the last five years we have noticed that it works really well. The account team, the hardware support, customer support everything was great, everything worked. That's why we will definitely continue to develop the relationship. We'll probably take it all the way to the summit, at almost 3000 meters. We already have the switches at 2960 meters. Maybe we can still take an Extreme switch even higher. But who knows what the future will bring. But we are in good spirits. That we achieve the highest points with Extreme will have the highest network in Germany overall.
