Start with the exact status on the posting attempt. A successful library action does not prove that LinkedIn or X received a post.

Before you start

Keep the Studio asset link, destination account, approximate attempt time and displayed message. Do not send passwords or connection tokens to support.

Steps

  1. Step 1. Open the affected asset and draft. Confirm the version and connected destination account.

  2. Step 2. If the attempt is queued, uploading or publishing, allow that attempt to finish. Closing the dialog does not necessarily cancel background publishing.

  3. Step 3. If the result is uncertain, inspect the destination account for the post before starting another attempt. Record whether it is present.

  4. Step 4. For a reconnect or missing-permission message, use the destination’s Connect action, authorize the correct account, then return and review the caption and media.

  5. Step 5. For changed media, close and reopen the asset, select the current version, and rebuild or review the draft against that version.

  6. Step 6. Retry only after resolving the reported problem and checking for an existing post. If the same error returns, send support the asset link, status, time and screenshot.

Check the result

Confirm success on the destination. If Studio and the destination disagree, preserve the attempt details for support rather than repeatedly posting.

If something does not work

  • Account could not be checked: this can be a temporary check failure, not expired authorization. Retry the check after it recovers.

  • Publishing is turned off: keep the draft and ask your MarketScale contact about availability. Reconnecting cannot enable a disabled service.

  • Access to media removed: ask the channel Admin to check your current item access.

  • Unsupported/oversized media or processing not ready: follow the draft’s specific size/type or readiness message; ask a creator for a suitable variation.

  • Post to social missing: check that the asset is completed, your role can use it and a destination is enabled. Social users need a creator to produce new edits.
