Every table in AI Visibility can be exported. Simply click the Export button on the page you're viewing, and a CSV or Excel file will be downloaded to your device. Use exports when you need to share a dataset offline, integrate it into a spreadsheet model, or pass it to a teammate who doesn't have access to AI Visibility.
Location of Export Buttons
Most tables and reports feature a dedicated Export button in the top right corner of the section. The most commonly used ones include:
- Prompts. Top right of the Tracked Prompts table.
- Citations. Top right of the Citation Sources table.
- Sentiment. Top right of the Sentiment by Brand table.
- Market Landscape. The Raw Data tab is designed for export.
If you don't see an Export button on a page, check the section-level controls. Most data tables in the platform can be exported.
Export Details
Most exports capture the data as it is filtered on your screen, including date range, competitor selection, model filters, and tag filters. Be sure to filter first, then export.
You can choose from two file formats:
- CSV. Plain comma-separated values. Ideal for downstream automation, BI tools, or any spreadsheet program.
- Excel. XLSX with headers preserved. Perfect for sending to stakeholders who work in Excel.
Tracking Your Exports
Click Exports in the left navigation under TOOLS to view a history of every export your project has run. This is useful for re-downloading a file you previously pulled or auditing what's been shared offline.
Pro Tip: The live dashboards are the source of truth. Exports are snapshots. If you find yourself exporting the same data weekly to email it around, that data probably belongs in a shared dashboard view or a recurring read-only link, not a recurring CSV.
