As ESPN prepares to launch their new direct-to-consumer subscription, ESPN+, a the appointment of Pitaro comes at an opportune time for the sports giant. The service will be integrated into a redesigned ESPN App for all-in-one, personalized digital access for scores, sports news, highlights, and authenticated live streaming of ESPN’s eight U.S. networks.
