Among the fresh releases, Hivner emphasizes the Chief Tempo Wall Mount, a sleek space solution requiring a close wall mount with a mere two-inch gap between the display and the wall. He also introduces the handy adapter rings, a go-to for easing connectivity transitions from USBC to HDMI or DisplayPort to HDMI.

On the audio front, the Easy IP solution garners attention, blending Dante audio with AV over IP in network settings, streamlining signal mixing and bridging. Moreover, the innovative SightLine screen design features a neat aesthetic with screens suspended by aircraft cables, which has been well-received by customers.

My name is Bob Hibner. I work for La Grande V. I'm the solutions and consultants manager working with consultants and end users. La Grande Bay has been a consolidation of a number of different brands. We have mid Atlantic, Body, chief, daylight, Luxol, that are infrastructure products used in the AV industry. How you get your signal from a to b and how you get it out of the room where you're in are all things that we address. All of our brands are leading brands. We know the industry is changing a So flexibility is an important part of what we need to do as well. Couple of things that we're showing, or new that were released this year. One is on the screen here beside me. Is the chief tempo wall mount. The tempo wall mount is designed for those places where being close to the wall is important. So you only have a two inch gap between the wall and the back of your display. In the cables to go department on on our table here, we have some adapter rings that are used for the solution that comes when an user is working with a computer and they have different connectivity that they need to get the signal out. So the adapters allow you to go from USBC to HDMI or display port to HDMI Those sorts of things are all on the adapter ring. In the Audio World, we have our easy IP solution, easy IP is a solution that allows for Dante audio coupled with AV over IP in a network environment so that you can mix your signals and and do your bridging from from that environment as well. Siteeline is a, new part of screen that we've come out with, where a normal screen hanging from a ceiling, if you have to drop from the ceiling, you would put black drop above the screen. And the new sight line has, as you can see in this picture, aircraft cables on the top that are holding the screen so that all that you see is just the screen itself, which gives you a very clean, aesthetic, especially in a place where maybe you have a glass wall or a nice architecture wall, you can drop this down in front of coming out next year on that will be a wall mount or a ceiling mount version that's not a recessed ceiling mount on the screen. It's been very well received by by many of our customers.

Campus AV-over-IP: a 10GbE switching and one-dashboard control buy

Campus AV-over-IP: a 10GbE switching and one-dashboard control buy

AV refreshes are starting to read more like network procurement decisions. Many designers now specify 10 Gigabit Ethernet for headroom, and campuses want a “single pane of glass” to monitor and control rooms. That shifts cost and risk to the IP network: bandwidth, governance, and the support model.

  • 01Many designers are specifying 10GbE headroom for AV-over-IP devices such as 4K monitors, according to Church Production Magazine, which turns classroom and venue upgrades into a switching and backbone procurement decision.
  • 02IMS Technology Services frames campus-wide standard room packages and a “single pane of glass” for monitoring and control as the support model, fewer room variants means fewer configs, spares, and escalation paths.
  • 03Church Production Magazine points to the cost jump as baseband routers grow from 16x16 to 64x64 and beyond, a pain point that underpins AV-over-IP’s argument for commercial-off-the-shelf switches over vendor-specific distribution hardware.

$1,499 SDM module puts Dante AV Ultra inside the display

$1,499 SDM module puts Dante AV Ultra inside the display

Adtechno’s $1,499 DAV-03SBL is designed for Intel SDM-L displays and projectors, per rAVe [PUBS]. It makes the display the Dante AV Ultra endpoint, which can mean fewer edge boxes but concentrates risk in switching, power, and device management.

  • 01If a display can be the decoder, the RFP shifts from “which wall box?” to “which switch config and management plane?” That’s where risk and labor move.
  • 02A single 1GbE link carrying 4K60 4:4:4 plus embedded audio (per Adtechno via rAVe [PUBS]) makes per-endpoint bandwidth assumptions, uplink sizing, and multicast policy central to planning.
  • 03Adtechno is building a family around Dante AV Ultra, with DAV-02 encoder/decoder (Digital Signage Today) and an SDM module that can standardize endpoints across signage and rooms.
