My story to wind up here on this spot started on a plane flying from El Salvador and I had wrapped up a project that was extremely high profile, sent my invoice to the customer for eighty three thousand dollars and they made it very clear that they were gonna stiff me on that invoice. And I had a team of fifteen developers to pay for and I knew that I was about to just get gut punched because not only was I going to take a giant financial hit, but I also knew that I had severed several important business relationships in order to pursue that opportunity abroad. And I I was left with a business in chaos, a life in chaos. I had to go through this awful experience to realize that money is not everything. If I didn't have other business leaders, entrepreneurs, executives, people like me to walk through the fire with me and help guide me through that process, I don't know how I would have had the clarity that I have today because I went from being a software, a very modestly successful software guy to now I have this life where I'm in the middle of the desert pursuing my dream project. I am building a desert forest. And how many people know that this is their professional ambition? I'm building a desert forest. The way I got that clarity was through Purpose Factory.
