Hi, everyone, and welcome to another episode of expert insights. On this show, we dive deep into the latest trends, innovative solutions and behind the scenes stories from the industry's leading expert. Today, we have a very special guest, Greg Stella, who is the national account manager, from Bullid, a global leader in Manufacturing Safety Equipment for workers in cabinet environment. Greg is here today to discuss the exciting product launch of their new sterile respirator for pharmaceutical manufacturing pipeline. This groundbreaking product is designed to revolutionize safety standards and user comfort in the comments itself. Greg, welcome to the show. Thank you, James. It's a pleasure to be with you today. Fantastic. So look, let's just jump straight in. In your opinion, how does the site line respiratorwood improve the visual experience for workers in, Farm and Manufacturing, and how does that differ from previous model? Well, Jenny, thank you for asking. This this is really the the the key to this product. There's a lot of keys that we'll hit on in this in this session, but I would like to say seeing is believing. And having a a a a a great vision. We can also help a lack of claustrophobia is so so important to our pharmaceutical operators. So this particular unit features a three twenty degree panoramic viewing lens. So there's maximum vision in any movement or any application or any function in the pharmaceutical suite, the operator's gonna re retain their vision. Which is absolutely key. One of the things that we do, we do a lot of things with this, so though, it's not just that lens or that three hundred degree panoramic vision of the lens. There's other things that we do that makes it a revolutionary product and are very unique to the product. We did a comprehensive ergonomic study on the design of this hood one of the things we noticed is in the variances of the body profiles were found. So what we did with the straps and the clip on this product that we'll talk, how we fasten it. We have a a drawstring and a clip. We manufacture them away. It's gonna maximize the securing mechanism regardless of body size. So one SKU or one hood will fit all and the way we research the ergonomics with our drawstring and our clip is gonna maximize division and comfort for all of those workers. So the stability of the hood is really the key as well as the vision that sets sets it apart. As well as this more, robust, anchoring system. The the beveled neck lifts the hood off the shoulder to prevent bouncing, which gives a very streamlined effect. And it also allows the outer bib to fall closer to the body. The overall effect of all these elements is not only that three hundred degree vision hood but maximum comfort and stability. So there's no bouncing. So the hood doesn't come in your face. And when you turn to look sideways up and down, you maintain hood integrity and hood moves moves with you and provides that excellent panoramic vision regardless of the job application. And that is really what makes it unique and how it differs from any other product on the marketplace today. Excellent. Thanks, Greg. User experience is, obviously, extremely important. But what steps have, bullet taken in designing site line to ensure maximum safety in the demanding environment of upon critical manufacturing. So so so there's a couple things that we've done. And and, obviously, Bullard is a is a PPE or personal protective equipment manufacturer and that's the only industry we're in. So we take this very, very seriously. When we're talking about pharmaceutical applications from a protection standpoint, The general term is folks want an assigned protection factor of a thousand. Or in other words, it's a it's a thousand times safer in in that hood as opposed to out outside of it. When we talk about protection factors, think of suntan lotion, we're coming up on Labor Day weekend here at the Jersey Shore journey. The last big weekend of the year. So we'll be going out with styles, you can imagine. So think of suntan lotion, the higher the number, the more protection that you do get, So an assigned protection factor of a thousand is the highest for this class of respirator. And white bullers so diligent about this is This just isn't some internal test that we've conducted. We have a rigorous third party testing to validate this assigned protection factor of a thousand. We've had some end user customers mentioned to us that it's the most scientifically valid and lee legally defensible reports that they've seen available So it's reassuring to them and obviously they're personnel that are putting into the hood. So again, not only you're gonna get all the features we talked about, in your first quest, great question, but we've got the maximum assigned protection factor with the rigorous third party data to support it. And when I when I mentioned protecting, we're talking about protecting the operator from a hazardous environment. Generally, what we now call HP APIs or highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients. What's so special about this hood and the partnership we have with benchmark products We know we also live in a world of tremendous biologics manufacturing. People injectables, parenterals, it's all the same thing. And we're gonna see the clean room growth become larger and larger, throughout the industry, particularly in North America and Europe. And we can also get the hood. Benchmark offers the hood, with sterile validated ten to the negative six sterility assurance. What that does on the other end, you know, you're gonna have peace of mind because you procon protect your environment with that most rigorous durable assurance standard as well. So it's really a a great combination of maximum protection for the operator from any cytotoxins or other HPAPIs. And also, just just just knowing in your mind, the peace of mind that we can also offer that ten to the negative six sterility assurance for those clean room environments. So, Greg, I know, when we initially started our discussion, you mentioned the larger, panel that has the three hundred and twenty degree visual experience to be used, but I was wondering, are there any other elements that contribute to comfort and user experience in the new sightline hood? Janey, that's a great question. And there's another a number of other things that we've incorporated into this hood to maximize the user experience. First and foremost, I think, would be the airflow. So they'll be using this product with either the EVA or EVA HL, which stands for hazardous locations powered air purifying respirator by Bullard. The operation of this is pretty simple. It works on a CFM or cubic foot a minute of airflow to deliver fresh breathing air to the operator. So the maximum airflow on a I don't wanna talk too many technical aspects. The minimum airflow to have what's called a NIOSH approved respirator which is the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health is six minimum airflow. We can deliver up to eight and a half, and that that number is validated as well through independent testing. We can deliver up to eight and a half CFMs of airflow into that hood. So it's gonna provide greater cooling and comfort and make sure there's no lens vlogging. In addition, not owing to that airflow. We're also gonna deliver in three different locations. One on the side and two upfront. So it's channeled. We're just now dumping the airflow into the back of your of your hood, like a lot of the current products out there. So this airflow is gonna be strategically channeled Again, to maximize the airflow, comfort, and user experience, and that's really, really important. Coupley other things we do on this, so it is Our neck material isn't some rough fabric. It's a very soft blue sport material. So that blue material will re reduce at any possible, lighting effect from above, any possible glare, but perhaps more importantly, it's very soft and comfortable on the neck. So that also again is a great feature of the hood. And lastly, one of the things we did with this hood, which was a great idea that our engineers did after lots of studies. Is we also changed our breathing tube. So not only is this a new hood, we have a new breathing tube called the flex breathing tube. Basically, it's an accordion style. And again, you just need one size, which not only reduces the SKUs, which keeps our good friends and procurement happy but it contours to the shape of the body. And what that does is it won't pull on the hood or or pull the hood back. And at the same token though, it won't bow out in the back and create a snag hazard. So so also that PA flex breathing tube, which is new, is also a critical component to the sight line hood. And the overall comfort in addition to the panoramic three twenty lens, beveled shoulders and small contoured interbib that we discussed in your first question. Thanks, Greg. Appreciate it. So efficiency and ease of use are also vital in a fast paced industry like Farmer Manufacturing, how does that fine line streamline the workflow for professionals? That is a great question. One of the things they have, the the these folks, they they need particularly, in what we would call the contract pharma or generic pharma space, these folks have to move really, really fast. They certainly do a big pharma as well, but a lot of times I find in that contract pharma space which is such a key component to our manufacturing and the generic. They've gotta move fast. So what we've done is we've eliminated any ratchet head suspension or any, real tough adjustments that you have to adjust or any ancillary parts that would go with that hood. So what we've done is we've taken this one hood With the tremendous vision, the tremendous airflow, we've contoured the back hood and the front hood in such a way that it can be easily tucked in by one operator don't need assistance in a matter of seconds. So that's tucked in in a matter of seconds. And then with that really effective drawstring and anchor clip, that we've talked about, you can adjust your hood down and have it clipped down in approximately three seconds. You're ready to go. You're maximizing your time. It's easy adjustment. You're getting all the comfort features we've we've talked about before, as as well as that. You're also having, again, that that that flex breeding to, one size bringing to, which is gonna contour your back. So the donning and doffing process is e extremely easy. You're gonna minimize the KUs not only for your inventory people, but the pieces that the operator has to assemble for the hood to properly function, and you're gonna have the amazing airflow. The amazing vision, the amazing comfort, the hood stays with you and moves with you. We've just launched it today, actually. August thirties is the official launch date. We've already had a tremendous reception, and we are so so excited to bring the site line with the market. Well, thanks, Greg. I can really, synthetic ignment. It's a great day of the launch of the new site line. They're all respirator. Thanks, Greg, for sharing insights into the fascinating world of safety equipment. And, it's innovations like these that really push the boundaries of safety and efficiency in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Thank you, listeners. We're tuning in to another episode of expert insights.
