What you can do depends on your organization’s plan, your role in the active channel and access to the specific content or group.
Before you start
Have the channel name, intended action and any affected item URL. Use the current pricing page for published inclusions and your agreement for organization-specific terms.
Steps
Step 1. Confirm the active Studio channel. A person can have different responsibilities or access in different channels.
Step 2. Check the current plan comparison and the organization’s agreed plan. Record the feature you expect, rather than relying on an old feature list.
Step 3. Ask an authorized Admin to check your role under Admin → Users. Social is for sharing existing content and does not include creation, Requests or AI Visibility.
Step 4. Check the specific item or group audience. Membership, private-group access and designated approval responsibilities can restrict a task even when the plan includes the feature.
Step 5. If the feature should be included and permitted, ask your MarketScale contact to check workspace activation or account-specific configuration.
Step 6. After a role or activation change, refresh Studio and try the intended action on the actual item. For a plan change, wait for confirmation of its effective date and scope.
Check the result
You should know which layer controls the missing action and who can resolve it. A plan entitlement does not automatically give every user Admin permissions.
If something does not work
AI Visibility: current standard pricing includes it in Scale, Business and Riserva. Confirm any exception in your agreement and workspace activation.
User limit: do not assume a pending invitation, Guest or Social account is excluded without checking the applicable capacity treatment.
A private-group approval fails: inspect Media approvers rather than upgrading the whole plan.
No self-service billing control: contact the account/billing team rather than looking for an undocumented portal.
