Podcast Host booking arranges a hosted conversation. It is a separate booking from onsite production or a studio visit.

Before you start

Your channel must have the booking option available. Have the topic, intended audience, speakers, timezone and any approved reference links ready.

Steps

  1. Step 1. Open Bookings → Podcast Host and start Book a podcast host.

  2. Step 2. Choose a host and select Show [host’s name]’s open times. Review the offered session type and available dates.

  3. Step 3. Choose a date and time, checking the displayed timezone. Confirm that the people participating can attend that time.

  4. Step 4. In Plan the episode and request the session, enter What is the session about? Add practical notes: audience, goal, participants, talking points and source links.

  5. Step 5. If using Podcast Coach, explain the goal and answer its follow-up questions. Review the proposed Episode plan for accurate claims and a useful sequence.

  6. Step 6. Choose Use this plan to place it on the brief. Check the On your brief state and make sure the final request still includes the important details.

  7. Step 7. Choose Request for the selected session, then open the booking and check its status. A submitted request or held slot may still need host confirmation.

  8. Step 8. Once the session details are confirmed, verify the joining information and calendar event with the participants.

Check the result

The booking should show the intended host, time and brief. Treat a pending request as pending until the booking confirms the session.

If something does not work

  • Podcast Host is missing: check channel eligibility with your MarketScale contact.

  • No suitable time: choose another available slot or discuss scheduling with your contact; do not assume a time is reserved before submission.

  • The plan includes an unverified claim: edit the brief before the conversation so the host knows what can be stated.
