Every piece of content with a talk track on MarketScale is automatically transcribed. Media Studio gives you a full set of tools to work with that transcript: search it, edit it, and download it in multiple formats.

Opening the Transcript Panel

Searching the Transcript

You can search the transcript to quickly find a specific moment in your video.

This is especially useful for long-form content (interviews, webinars, podcasts) where you need to locate a specific section without scrubbing through the whole video.

Pro tip: The transcript search inside Media Studio is scoped to the content you're currently viewing. MarketScale's channel-wide search works differently: it analyzes the transcripts of all content in your channel, so you can search for anything based on what was said in any talk track. Use the platform search from your channel feed when you're trying to find a piece of content by something that was said in it.

Editing the Transcript

The auto-generated transcript is accurate 98–99% of the time, but names, acronyms, and industry-specific terms occasionally need a correction. You can edit the transcript directly in the panel.

Tip: Before downloading for external use (especially as a caption file), it's worth doing a quick proofread, Focus on proper nouns, brand names, and technical terminology. These are the areas most likely to need a small correction.

Downloading the Transcript

Once you've reviewed and edited your transcript, you can download it in three formats:

Click Download at the top of the Transcript panel and select your preferred format.
