Trade shows are a popular way for companies in certain industries that allow them to show off their products and services, and they are a powerful source of B2B revenue. In fact, they are the second largest source of B2B revenue in the U.S. The ProMat trade show is a one in the supply chain industry, and this year, it will take place in Chicago from March 20th to March 23rd.

Why should businesses in the supply chain industry consider attending trade shows to benefit their business, and what attendees can expect at ProMat.

On today’s episode of On Time In Full by Designed Conveyor Systems, Host Gabrielle Bejarano speaks with Curtis Jefferson, Vice President, Sales and Marketing at DCS, to discuss the benefits of attending trade shows and to provide a taste of what the ProMat trade show may offer this year.

Bajarano and Jefferson also discussed…

  1. Trends that will be driving the 2023 ProMat show
  1. How DCS is preparing for ProMat this year versus past years due to entering the software industry
  1. How vendors can make the most of their time at trade shows such as ProMat

Jefferson forecasted the numbers for Promat: “I saw MHI, who hosts, and Modex are expecting over 55 thousand attendees and over a thousand exhibitors, which is amazing. During the pandemic, we had a pause on these shows, so it’s really exciting to see the amount of traffic that’s coming through this show.”

Curtis Jefferson is Vice President, Sales and Marketing at DCS. Jefferson has served in roles such as Senior Director of Sales, Customer Service, at Siemens Logistics LLC as well as System Sales Manager at KNAPP Logistics Automation Inc. He earned a BS in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.
