Drones in America host Grant Guillot looks at the future of American manufactured drones through AgEagle, a company that has expanded its manufacturing capabilities for commercial use applications in recent years due to increased demand and uncertainty in the industry’s future.

Guillot sat down with Matt Martin, Vice President of Operations at AgEagle, to get a better understanding of the history of the agriculture industry’s implementation drones to streamline crop monitoring and surveillance, as well as the work that is being done to secure a Type Certification by the FAA. The agency has yet to issue a certification that would take drone delivery to the next step in becoming a widely available option, but several companies are aiming for that goal in the near future.
