The e-commerce giant selected the Long Island City neighborhood in Queens and the National Landing neighborhood of Arlington. “These two locations will allow us to attract world-class talent that will help up continue inventing for customers for years to come. Amazon also announced a smaller, third investment in Nashville. The new operations center will create 5,000 jobs in the Tennessee city. Amazon said the average salary for employees in the areas would surpass $150,000 per year.
