4 November 2026 - Softline Group (PJSC Softline), an investment and technology holding with a focus on innovation, and Simpl, a developer of industrial IT solutions, are advancing technological cooperation in strategically important areas including industrial safety, contractor management and production risk management. The partnership combines the competencies of both parties to strengthen their positions in international markets and develop integrated solutions for industrial enterprises. The combination of technological expertise, hands-on implementation experience, and a deep understanding of regional specifics creates the foundation for scaling in-demand digital technologies and enhancing the safety and efficiency of production processes.

The development of the partnership addresses the growing demand of industrial companies for comprehensive management of safety and operational efficiency. For companies in the oil and gas, metallurgy, energy, and other industries, transparency in interaction with contractors, timely preparation for work, control of production risks, and reduction of delays associated with multi-stage approvals are of particular importance.

At the heart of this technological cooperation are the Simpl HSE digital platform and the Simpl e-PTW solution. They enable the integration of risk assessment, contractor preparation, work permit issuance, activity control, and audit within a single digital environment. This approach helps companies improve the manageability of production processes, ensure the traceability of decisions, and reduce the administrative burden without relaxing safety requirements.

The partnership combines the complementary competencies of the parties. Simpl contributes its proprietary software solutions and hands-on experience in digitalizing industrial safety processes at large production facilities. Softline Group provides international customer engagement infrastructure, knowledge of regional markets, and expertise in supporting complex technology projects. Collaborative work makes it possible to adapt solutions to the tasks of specific enterprises and to take into account the specifics of their production and IT infrastructure.

The collaboration has already moved to practical implementation: the teams conducted joint pre-sales activities and worked through the technical and commercial requirements of industrial customers. The first commercial result was an order from an industrial enterprise in the UAE for the initial stage of the joint project. The partners are currently making organizational preparations for its launch.

"In the MENA region, industrial companies are moving beyond experimentation with digital tools and increasingly demanding solutions that have a measurable impact on operational resilience and the quality of managerial decisions. That is precisely why the Softline and Simpl partnership focuses on embedding the platform into an enterprise's day-to-day industrial safety processes. The technological maturity of the Simpl HSE platform and the Simpl e-PTW solution, proven at large production sites, is complemented in our collaboration by Softline's ability to build customer relationships from first contact through project support, connecting technical capabilities with the enterprise's real business objectives. Initial feedback confirms the demand for such an approach, and we are continuing our efforts in this direction," said Evgeniy Kurtukov, Regional Director of Softline Group in the MENA region.

"Entering international industrial markets requires not only a strong technological solution but also a deep understanding of the specifics of local enterprises’ operations. For Simpl, the partnership with Softline is an opportunity to apply its accumulated expertise in new regions, adapt its technologies to the needs of foreign customers, and adopt the best international practices. We already see the practical results of our collaborative work and view this cooperation as a basis for the further development of international projects," noted Artem Shilyaev, Head of International Sales at Simpl.

The next area of collaborative work will be expanding presence in the markets of the UAE and other Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The companies plan to expand engagement with industrial enterprises, share industry best practices, and develop joint expert and marketing initiatives. Opportunities to apply this accumulated expertise in Central Asian markets are being considered separately.

For Softline Group and Simpl, the partnership creates a foundation for long-term international cooperation in which proprietary technologies, practical experience in delivering industrial projects, and regional expertise complement one another, helping customers enhance the safety, efficiency, and sustainability of production operations.

This interaction was initiated by negotiations at the GITEX Global international exhibition, where the parties outlined common interests and prospects for technological cooperation. The cooperation between the companies is aimed at developing digital solutions in industrial safety and improving the efficiency of production processes. The partnership combines experience in implementing industrial IT solutions, international expertise, and a presence in Middle Eastern markets, creating a foundation for delivering joint projects in HSE and implementing electronic permit-to-work (e-PTW) systems.

Machine condition monitoring in 2025: MRFR says $1.49 billion, FMI says $3.2 billion

Machine condition monitoring in 2025: MRFR says $1.49 billion, FMI says $3.2 billion

IndexBox expects machine health monitoring to spread from power generation and heavy process industries into mid-sized manufacturing, fleets and rail by 2035. Market Research Future values the market at $1.49 billion in 2025, while Future Market Insights puts it at $3.2 billion. MRFR gives hardware 47.2% of 2025 revenue and forecasts software to grow 11.8% a year through 2035.

  • 01Hardware is about half or more of spending (46% to over 55%), and vibration leads where reported (34.2% to 36.1%), while one forecast puts software growth at 11.8% a year. That mix is a better budgeting benchmark than any total.
  • 02Analysts are urging vendors toward pricing tied to downtime avoided instead of sensor count, which would make the downtime baseline, and who measures it, the clause that matters most in a monitoring contract.

Schneider Electric's TeSys Tera puts failure warnings inside old motor control cabinets

Schneider Electric's TeSys Tera puts failure warnings inside old motor control cabinets

Schneider Electric's TeSys Tera adds fault protection and pre-failure alarms. Its quoted 30–50% downtime cut is a general benchmark, so each plant's own hourly downtime cost decides the payback.

  • 01Predictive maintenance on legacy motors can now arrive as a starter swap: TeSys Tera fits existing control cabinets and intelligent motor control center buckets instead of requiring a rebuild.
  • 02The hourly downtime cost a plant plugs in could decide the business case before the hardware does.
  • 03The 30–50% downtime reduction attached to the launch is a McKinsey benchmark for predictive versus reactive maintenance in general, so the useful proof will be measured results from retrofitted plants.

A $373 ISO standard lets mobile robots from different vendors share a floor

A $373 ISO standard lets mobile robots from different vendors share a floor

A3 published ISO 21423:2026, setting common communication requirements so mixed-vendor IMRs can exchange location, speed, direction, tasks, condition and availability data. A3 sells it for $373. It also covers lifts, doors, alarms and ERP tools, pulling facilities and IT into robot buys.

  • 01A $373 document could give plant buyers something specific to ask for when a forklift from one vendor and a floor-cleaning robot from another have to share an aisle.
  • 02Sites that already run MassRobotics or VDA 5050 interfaces start close to the new standard, since ISO 21423 was built from both and uses the same MQTT and JSON foundations.
  • 03Robots calling a lift or passing an automated door fall inside the standard's scope, so the owners of building systems and ERP have a seat in robot buying decisions.
