Toast, the leading smart restaurant ecosystem, has announced a partnership with smart video platform, Solink.

The synergy of the two technologies appears to be a natural fit.

Solink’s smart hub and intuitive mobile app both integrate well with the transaction process handled by Toast’s Restaurant POS.

Solink provides a means of synchronizing a customer’s real-time security video with Toast transactions, which can then be accessed via a Discovery dashboard. Native event notifications, motion alerts, and the ability of sending clips and data to authorities and insurance companies, should improve security significantly.

The features not only increase the safety of employees and guests, but they will help in loss prevention and tracking metrics, such as wait times, order amounts, and customer service interactions.
