In the midst of the ongoing pandemic, ensuring a healthy and safe home environment has become a top priority for many. Field Controls, a leading manufacturer of ventilation and indoor air quality products, offers innovative solutions to address these concerns.

Field Controls specializes in ventilation, filtration, and UV purification systems, collectively marketed as the Healthy Home System. Their products are designed to make homes fresh, clean, and pure, providing a comprehensive approach to indoor air quality.

One of their notable offerings is the UV purification system, which utilizes UV-C germicidal light to neutralize viruses, bacteria, and other airborne contaminants. When installed in the HVAC ductwork, the UV light continuously bathes the circulating air, effectively neutralizing pathogens and preventing them from replicating.

To complement the UV purification system, Field Controls also emphasizes the importance of a good filtration system as the first line of defense against particulates like dust, pollen, and mold spores. However, since viruses are smaller than these particles, an additional layer of protection is necessary, making UV purification essential.

Concerns regarding the safety of UV light are addressed by Field Controls. The UV rays emitted by their air purifiers remain contained within the duct system, ensuring no exposure to homeowners. Moreover, Field Controls utilizes UV-C germicidal light that is ozone-free, eliminating any potential harm to occupants.

The affordability and ease of installation are additional advantages of Field Controls’ systems. They can be added to a home within a short timeframe, typically ranging from 30 minutes to an hour, through any HVAC contractor.

The response from customers has been overwhelmingly positive, with the demand for UV purification systems surging due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Field Controls is proud to offer solutions that address the pressing concerns of homeowners, providing peace of mind and improved indoor air quality.

It’s important to note that while Field Controls’ systems maintain clean air on a consistent basis, regular cleaning and remediation efforts are still necessary to address the root causes of indoor air quality issues.

As people increasingly prioritize the safety and well-being of their families, the demand for solutions like those offered by Field Controls is expected to grow. If you’re interested in learning more about their products or discussing your specific needs, residents of Arkansas can reach out to their local authorized dealer to gain access to the full line of Field Controls indoor air quality solutions.

Investing in the health of your home has never been more crucial, and Field Controls is at the forefront of providing reliable, effective, and innovative solutions for cleaner, purer indoor air.

Oston Carrkertz is here joining us now. We're so thankful for you to take some time. This is kind of an interesting subject that we're talking about certainly during this time of of pandemic here. In in the country and across the globe, tell us what field controls does. What what do you guys do? And how could it help us right now? Okay. Thanks, Allison. Deal controls is a manufacturer of ventilation and indoor air quality products based in Kingston, North Carolina. We have distributors all throughout the country. But what we do is we make indoor air quality products that deal with ventilation, filtration and UV Pure which I believe we're going to talk about today. We market that as a system. We call it the healthy home system and we say we can make homes fresh, clean, and pure. That sounds super enticing right now, concerning what we're dealing with. Explain that to us how this works and how someone can find out more information, and if it's something that they need for their home? Well, I I I I think it's it's depending on the home, I think there's a need there for just about everyone. UV has been dependable line of defense for biological growth in homes for years. It's also been used in a lot of commercial applications. It's been used in medical as well as air and water treatment and food processing. With the UV generating lamp mounted in the HVAC duct, The cumulative exposure is very effective in controlling airborne contaminants, including bacteria, mold viruses, including COVID nineteen. So how does it work? How does the UV light attack viruses or keep viruses from growing in your home? Okay. Great question. So as the indoor air circulates through the duct system. So the UV light would be mounted in your duct system as the air circulates and runs past the UV light it's gonna be consistently bathed in the UV light as it passes. About seventy five times a day. And that UV light is gonna have a cumulative effect on the pathogen as it goes past the UV light. And what that's going to do is it's going to neutralize the organism's DNA and make it unable to replicate. The other thing here is placement's gonna matter. If I can mount that UV light over the evaporator coil, I can also eliminate biological growth on the evaporator coil, which a source of a lot of indoor air quality problems within the home. A lot of people may be thinking, you know, I have an air filter in my HVAC system right now, can't that do what needs to be done? Okay. Another great question. So a a a good filtration system is a great first line of defense in having good indoor air quality within the home. It's gonna eliminate particulate including pollen, bacteria, mold spores, animal dander, dust. However, viruses are a little bit smaller. They're much smaller than these particles, and this necessitates a second line of defense which is an ultraviolet purification system to irradiate these viruses. And are these products safe? We know UV Lite has also been, you know, correlated with skin cancer and other things. So how safe is this UV light in our homes? Okay. UV products are very safe. When they're properly installed, a field controlled UV air purifier is going to pose no threat to the homeowner. First and foremost, the UV rays that the UV light's going to emit is gonna be self contained inside the duct system, which is gonna protect the homeowner from any exposure whatsoever. The second side of this, and the second reason why one of our selling features the fact that we're using UBC, dermicidal light, which is gonna be ozone free. So we're not gonna meet any ozone that can get into the living space and be potentially harmful to activates? So for how how cost effective is this for people that may be interested? We find that in that the addition of a UV system to your home can be very affordable. It can typically be done within thirty minutes to an hour. From any HVAC contractor. We distribute through standard supply. So any high dealer would be able to install field control products. Austin, what's been the response from your customers? It's been tremendous. We've had quite the you know, we we we do a good job anyway. We we were selling a lot of UV products anyway, but the response and the demand for UV in light of what's happening with COVID-nineteen has been really a paradigm change for us. And it's been it's It's a serious problem, but we're glad that we can have solutions that can deal with the problems that people are dealing with and give them peace of mind. For the air they're breathing in their home. And I I would imagine this doesn't replace regular cleaning and all all the things that still need to happen inside a home. That's exactly right. So there is there is remediation, which is taking care of the source of indoor air quality issues that includes cleaning and and so forth. And this is more of a maintenance item where it's going to maintain that clean air throughout the home on a consistent basis and make sure that we're reducing the incidence of allergies and asthma. Super interesting. I only see something like this continuing to grow and and get traction as people are looking for ways to make their homes safer and keep their families healthy. So thank Thanks so much for spending time with us today. Great information. Tell us how people can find out more if they're interested in in talking to you guys. Okay. In the state of Arkansas, Residents can call their local Ohio dealer, and they would actually be have access to all the full line of field controlled products for indoor air quality. Easy enough. We appreciate you. Have a great one. Thank you, Allison. You too.
