In the fast-paced world of technology, TMGcore, a leading technology development company, is revolutionizing the design, build, and operation of data centers. The key to their innovative approach is a two-phase liquid immersion cooling system, aptly named “OTTO”. However, introducing such cutting-edge technology to the market requires not only a remarkable product but also a strong and reliable partnership ecosystem. For TMGcore, this partnership has been embodied by electrical contracting company FSG.

Data centers have become an integral part of our digital world, but their traditional design has been notably resource-heavy. Standard data center densities require about a megawatt of compute to cover a space of between 8,000 and 10,000 square feet. However, TMGcore’s OTTO technology remarkably condenses this, enabling 1.2 megawatts of compute within just 320 square feet. The efficiency of OTTO’s design reduces operating expenses by 70 to 90 percent and has the potential to significantly decrease resource consumption in an increasingly distributed data center world.

To ensure the successful implementation of the OTTO units, TMGcore relies on FSG’s expertise in electrical engineering, design, and installation. FSG’s role is to provide the necessary infrastructure for the high-performance computing platform that OTTO represents. Their services include design for permit drawings, the right calculations for arc fault and arc flash, and 3D modeling, among others.

Partnering with FSG has provided reassurance for clients that the electric build is engineered correctly and installed safely. FSG’s willingness to provide on-call service to handle issues promptly, along with their attention to detail and safety, has made them an integral part of TMGcore’s operations. This partnership has also proven invaluable due to TMGcore’s rapid pace, often requiring tasks that would typically take weeks to be completed in mere days.

TMGcore’s innovative OTTO technology, combined with FSG’s engineering and installation expertise, is setting new standards for data center density and efficiency. Whether for hyperscalers or edge deployments, FSG’s turnkey solutions have proven to be an essential component of TMGcore’s business model, helping to bring their groundbreaking data center technology to the market. As TMGcore continues to innovate, the partnership with FSG promises to push the boundaries of what’s possible in data center technology.

TMG core is a technology development company we all are experts in the design, build, and operation of data centers. We specialize in something called two phase liquid immersion cooling, Our primary unit is the unit behind me, it's called auto. It's a data center project. We're looking towards ultimate density. If you at typical data center densities, you put about a megawatt of compute anywhere between eight thousand and ten thousand square feet. With the auto technology, we put one point two megawatts of compute in three twenty square feet, and it drives down the operating expense anywhere between seventy and ninety percent because of robot SEDER IN THE BOX. AS THE DATA CENTER WORLD BECOMES MORE DISTRIBUTED, THERE ARE GOING TO BE A DRAMATIC INCREASE the number of facilities, the amount of space that those facilities consume, auto enables the deployment of high density solutions using less of all of that, less space, less power, less human resources, and less natural resources. So FSTU comes into the mix. They are our electrical contracting company. What we do, we specialize in, is electrical engineering, electrical design, and electrical installation. Our role is to provide engineering, design, and the eventual infrastructure installation for the auto product you see behind me. The auto is a platform, a high performance computing platform, there requires electrical power at each location. And if there's one facet in the sales role that we learn is we deal with c level executives. We're rolling out this beautiful bleeding edge technology that we know is tried and true, but the market, it's new. They're wary of. So it's super important that in VIDAL FOR TMG Core to have a partner ecosystem and that's why we chose FSG. When we do a design build project, it's important for our clients to have the reassurance that whatever we're going to build electrically is engineered properly. FSG Dallas has staff of engineering. That expertise that is needed to do design for permit, the drawings. It's needed to make sure that we are doing the right calculations for arc fault, arc flash. In addition to that, we have an entire department that is built around b m three sixty, three d modeling. Our level of experience that we have is trans related to our engineering department. So they understand the physical characteristics of how to install electrical products in the field. So that's what we bring to the table. It was paramount to use FSG. We need guys in the field and gals in the field that we know at the drop of a hat, we can call and say, hey, we need your help with this system as we were developing the technology. And so it was very important to have somebody like FSC involved. We we love working with them. They're professional. Their attention to detail and their pension to safety is is very much appreciated. Their guys are always here early and they always stay until the job gets done and they're always willing to help out and go above and beyond it. Oh, I think it's really important. It's it's really unique to be able to I can call Kevin pretty much any time of the day and say, hey, I need x, y, and z done. I need very quickly. He's here the next day knocking out things that would normally take three, four, five weeks of permitting and everything like that. If you know anything about t m g four, we move extremely quick and without the support of partners. I give a machine, we wouldn't able to be able to do those things. For us, FSG is a turnkey partner, and FSG is one of those partners that we count on to deploy this technology whether it be for the hyperscalers or all the way out of the edge no matter if going to be one unit or many.

Packaging robots can beat labor long term on cost, PMMI argues

Packaging robots can beat labor long term on cost, PMMI argues

PMMI's Tom Egan wrote in Processing Magazine that adding packaging automation and robotics can now be justified as more cost-effective over the long term than the high cost of labor in food, beverage and CPG plants. Separately, Packaging World describes AI-enabled AMRs from ABB and Agilox that automate material movement between packaging stations. The remaining gap is adoption among smaller manufacturers.

  • 01Two reference points for infrastructure-light material movement: ABB's Flexley Mover P603 carries 1,500 kg with sub-centimeter positioning and no floor markers, and Agilox's OFL lifts 800 kg pallets on peer-to-peer fleet software with no central traffic controller, per Packaging World.
  • 02The open ground is small and mid-sized manufacturers: MTC's Mike Wilson counts tens of thousands of UK SMEs with no robotic automation at all and expects cobots to take most of that growth.
  • 03A robotics business case should include procurement, not only line labor: a June 2026 China Journal of Accounting Research study found heavy robot adopters spread buying across more suppliers, gaining resilience but losing inventory efficiency and adding transaction costs.

Xtellio brings telematics to jobsite tools and heaters

Xtellio brings telematics to jobsite tools and heaters

Xtellio launched a two-tier telematics platform in March 2026: 32 battery-powered Xense sensors for small tools and wired Pro-Xentral devices for excavators, light towers and heaters. The company claims a 10-year battery life. Data is delivered through open APIs, which Xtellio frames as customer ownership of the data, aimed at rental and construction fleets where small assets have gone largely untracked.

  • 01Xtellio’s stated 10-year battery life for its Bluetooth Xense sensors is the key spec to test in the field; if it holds up, tagging hundreds of tools can look like a one-time install rather than a recurring battery-maintenance program.
  • 02For rental houses and contractors running mixed fleets, the sharper question is no longer which machines have telematics but whether the heaters, light towers and hand tools do, and whether that data lands in the same system.
  • 03Open APIs and “data liberation” are part of Xtellio’s pitch, and the coverage frames that as a prompt for RFP questions: what the APIs expose, where data can be sent, and whether customers can take historical data if they switch providers.

Senate bill would double smart water grants to $50 million a year

Senate bill would double smart water grants to $50 million a year

S. 2388, the Water Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2025, would double an EPA water tech pilot to $50 million a year through 2028. Grants would cover design, construction, training and operations for leak detection, advanced metering and AI analytics, WaterWorld reported. Planning and maintenance stay on the utility's tab.

  • 01Under S. 2388 as WaterWorld describes it, feasibility studies are not grant-eligible, so a utility would have to pay to build the case for a smart water project before applying for help building the project itself.
  • 02The bill's eligible list puts advanced digital design and construction management tools in the same bucket as meters and sensors, which would give a utility's capital delivery team a claim on the same grant as its field operations group.
  • 03The existing pilot program's authorization runs through 2026, per WaterWorld; the bill would extend it to 2028, and its last reported status was 'introduced' as of Aug. 12, 2025.
