Field Controls introduces the Fresh Air Ventilation Control (FAVC), a cutting-edge solution designed to provide year-round fresh air ventilation while prioritizing energy conservation, indoor air quality, and overall comfort. Ideal for both new and existing single or multi-family homes, the FAVC offers a range of features to enhance ventilation efficiency.

Meeting the requirements of the ASHRAE 62.2 standard, the FAVC incorporates an outdoor temperature sensor mounted in the fresh air duct. With three selectable climate zones, it adjusts ventilation parameters based on the specific climate conditions. Additionally, it offers three ventilation settings tailored to different home sizes.

The FAVC goes beyond basic ventilation control. It can monitor up to four exhaust appliances, providing appropriate ventilation based on their operation. It can also supply makeup air in response to exhaust fans and independently power an exhaust fan to save energy, separate from the central HVAC fan.

Another standout feature is the FAVC’s ability to continuously monitor indoor relative humidity, optimizing ventilation during hot and humid days to enhance comfort and manage moisture levels. It ensures a healthier, safer, and more comfortable indoor environment, even during adverse weather conditions.

Setting up the FAVC is hassle-free, and it is compatible with various HVAC systems, including conventional heat and cool systems, heat pumps, hydronic air handling, HRVs, and ERVs.
