Field Controls introduces the FAPV (Fresh Air Power Ventilator), a cutting-edge solution designed to provide efficient mechanical ventilation that complies with the ASHRAE 62.2 residential ventilation standard. With the FAPV, homeowners can ensure a constant supply of fresh outdoor air to maintain optimal indoor air quality.

The FAPV system operates by drawing in fresh outdoor air through a screened intake air hood, which is then distributed throughout the HVAC ducted return air system or a designated mechanical ventilation closet. The FAPV can be configured to run continuously or intermittently, allowing for efficient humidity and fan control.

Equipped with electronic speed control, the FAPV enables precise adjustment of the fresh air ventilation volume to meet specific standard requirements such as ASHRAE 62.2, ASHRAE 62.1, the International Residential Code, the International Mechanical Code, and California Energy Commission Title 24.

Featuring a washable MERV 6 intake air filter and a gasketed second filter slot, the FAPV ensures clean and filtered air circulation. Additionally, its backdraft damper minimizes unwanted ventilation during the off cycle.

Field controls f a p v or fresh air power ventilator. Is designed to provide verifiable mechanical ventilation that meets ashrae sixty two point two residential ventilation standard. The f a p v can be configured to run continuously or intermittent to efficiently manage humidity and fan operation. Managed fresh outdoor air, enters through a screened intake air hood that's ducted into the fresh air power ventilator. The fresh air is distributed by the FAPV into the HVAC ducted return air system. Or into a designed mechanical ventilation closet. The field controls fresh air power ventilator can be operated continuously or intermittently with enthalpy when controlled by the field controls fresh air ventilation control or FAVC. Or it can be operated by a programmable ventilation control thermostat. The FAV fresh air power ventilator has electronic speed control, which allows the installer to dial in the specific fresh air ventilation volume to meet intermittent or continuous standard requirements. Such as ASHRA sixty two point two, ASHRA sixty two point one, the international residential code, the international mechanical code, California Energy Commission Title twenty four and others. When set up with a field controls FABC, fresh air ventilation control, it can reduce ventilation during adverse outdoor conditions to meet minimum equipment return air temperature The FAPV is provided with a washable UL nine hundred rated Merv six intake air filter. The designed gasketed second filter slot accepts a standard UL nine hundred rated ten by ten by two inch filter.
