Recent PwC research found that most U.S. executives expected AI agents to drastically transform existing roles, even as fewer than half of companies using agents had fundamentally rethought their operating models or redesigned processes around them. For enterprise technology leaders, the stakes are no longer just whether AI can speed up delivery, but whether companies can rebuild work itself around disciplined, secure and human-guided systems.
