Brand Brain supplies reusable brand context. Set up the facts and references your team needs, then review the output it helps create.
Before you start
Use the intended channel and an account with permission to edit Brand Brain. Gather the current website, approved positioning, visual assets and a few authoritative product facts.
Steps
Step 1. Open Brand Brain and select Brand. Review the company description, audience, voice and other displayed fields. Correct outdated facts before adding more material.
Step 2. To learn from a website, enter Website URL or search for your company, select the correct result and choose Learn from website. Review the generated values against approved sources; do not assume every existing field remains unchanged.
Step 3. Watch the brand save indicator: Saving…, Saved or Couldn’t save. Wait for Saved and reopen the relevant field to confirm important edits.
Step 4. Open Assets to review logos, graphics, music or templates available for your channel. Use current approved files and recognizable names.
Step 5. Open Sources to connect an authorized account or add a website link. Verify the account and sync outcome using the source guide below.
Step 6. Open Knowledge Files to add concise approved reference material. In Create knowledge file, upload supported text, use a Page URL, or start from scratch. Review the resulting content and Save edits in the file editor.
Step 7. Open Memories. Review Proposed memories; approve only durable, correct facts. For Approved memories, use Edit → Description → Save changes when a fact needs correction.
Step 8. Run a small real task, such as drafting a product explanation from an approved source. Check names, claims and tone against the references and correct the underlying context if needed.
Check the result
Saved fields and connected sources show setup progress; the practical check is whether the output uses the correct facts. A completeness indicator is not an accuracy score.
If something does not work
Couldn’t save: preserve the intended text, resolve the error and confirm it persists after reopening.
A sub-brand has no Sources controls: manage shared sources in the parent Brand Brain; verify which brand you are editing.
A Knowledge File upload is rejected: the current text upload accepts .md, .markdown or .txt under 1 MB. Convert the approved content to a supported text file or paste it into a new file.
An incorrect fact returns: check approved memories and source files as well as the Brand fields.
