When an output contains an old or incorrect fact, find the stored context behind it. Correcting one chat response does not necessarily update Brand Brain.
Before you start
Keep the incorrect sentence and the authoritative replacement. Use an account allowed to edit the relevant brand content, source or memory.
Steps
Step 1. Open Brand Brain in the channel used for the task. Check Brand for the company, product or audience fact. Correct the field and wait for Saved.
Step 2. Check Knowledge Files for the same fact. Open the relevant file, edit the text and choose Save. Avoid leaving contradictory versions of the same policy or product detail.
Step 3. Check Sources. Confirm the connected account can reach the original material, correct the original if you own it, then choose Sync now or Refresh source and inspect the result.
Step 4. Open Memories → Approved memories. Find the stale fact, choose Edit, correct Description and choose Save changes.
Step 5. Review Proposed memories separately. Approve correct durable facts, Edit a proposal that needs correction, or Reject memory if it should not be retained. Proposed memories are not approved context yet.
Step 6. Run a fresh version of the affected content task. Compare the output with the authoritative source and review any remaining mistakes before publishing.
Check the result
The edited fact should persist after reopening the field/file/memory, and the new output should reflect the correction. Verify both; one successful save does not guarantee every generated answer is correct.
If something does not work
No Approve or Edit action: ask an authorized curator or Admin to make the change.
Conflicts continue: check the parent brand, sub-brand selection, connected documents and duplicate memories.
A connector fails: capture the source type and error, not credentials. Send the affected task and source references to support.
Do not approve a temporary campaign instruction as a permanent company fact unless it is clearly scoped and maintained.
