The current review queue is labeled Approvals. Older references may call this the Inbox. It is where authorized reviewers handle uploaded and recorded media awaiting a decision.
Before you start
Use the intended channel and an account authorized to approve the item. Private-group media can require a designated group approver.
Steps
Step 1. Open Approvals and select Pending. If you cannot find an item, check its channel and your access before assuming it was never submitted.
Step 2. Open the item and review the whole recording, upload or edit. Check its intended audience and any Brand Brain check findings shown.
Step 3. Make the appropriate decision in the item’s approval controls. Approve only when the content is ready for its channel audience; if rejecting/declining, provide a specific correction reason.
Step 4. Complete any confirmation dialog and wait for the action to finish.
Step 5. Return to Approvals → Approved or Rejected. Locate the item and review the decision record. Use Decided by, Role and sort controls to narrow the list when needed.
Step 6. For content intended for public use, complete its separate publication or social-sharing workflow after approval.
Check the result
The item should leave Pending and appear under the appropriate recorded outcome. Channel approval does not by itself create a public article or social post.
If something does not work
The decision control is missing: verify your role, item access and any private-group Media approvers setting.
No matches in decision history: use Clear filters and check both Approved and Rejected.
Brand Brain flags a possible issue: inspect the source and content; the check supports your review rather than replacing your decision.
Request answers are missing: review them in the Request responses workflow first; collection and media approval are separate stages.
