Groundskeepers gain unprecedented accuracy and comfort with a redesigned cup cutter featuring stabilizing screws, built-in leveling, and ergonomic improvements

Michael Bohlmann, Account Executive at Standard Golf, introduces the Magnum Pro Hole Cutter, a game-changing tool for 2025 with five key enhancements designed to make cup cutting more precise and convenient.

Bohlmann begins by highlighting the dual screws that securely fasten the handle to prevent rotation, along with the addition of a bubble level to ensure perfect alignment every time. A locking pin streamlines the ejection process for turf plugs, while a redesigned ergonomic grip ensures comfort when carrying the cutter around the course. Finally, the three-screw system allows for quick and hassle-free shell sharpening or replacement.

With these thoughtful updates, the Magnum Pro is set to become the go-to tool for superintendents aiming for efficiency and precision.

Hello, everybody. My name is Michael Boleman, back with another Standard Golf video. Today, we're gonna be going over our brand new to the market for twenty twenty five, our Magnum PRO hole cutter. It's a little offset to our hole cutter that's been around for quite some years now, our Magnum hole cutter. But let me tell you about the five modifications we made to the brand new hole cutter, the Magnum PRO. So let's jump into the five modifications that we have for the new Magnum PRO hole cutter as opposed to our old Magnum hole cutter. So the five new modifications that we have, starting from the top, will be the, two screws that actually bolt into the handle as opposed to the one screw that crimps the very top of the wood handle. So now you won't have a handle that will get loose and start to turn as opposed to our old one. Working our way down, we we do now have a bubble level on that hole cutter. So now we've taken what we've, received from our SG Pro hole cutter, and we've actually put that bubble level into our next Magnum PRO hole cutter. Moving down, we now have a pin. The pin will actually release the ejection handle for that plug once you're done using it. Once you get done, you can actually lock it in place and using our fourth modification, which is actually our new grip. So hopefully, that's more of an easier touch, and more convenience when carrying around the whole cutter to and from the green. And our last modification that we made is actually three screws that now screw the shell into the whole cutter. So that should be a lot easier when you are when that time comes to be able to sharpen that shell or to change out that shell once it's all done. So five modifications. You got the handle. You do got the bubble level. You got the grip. You also got the locking pin. And then finally, you do have the easy access to be able to take that shell off. So brand new hole cutter for twenty twenty five, your next option when it comes to cutting cups on your course.

As World Cup arrives in the US, creator-access clauses reshape broadcast rights deals

As World Cup arrives in the US, creator-access clauses reshape broadcast rights deals

FIFA's broadcast strategy for the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico represents the most structurally complex rights package in the tournament's history. Deals now span over 220 territories, include a live-streaming partnership with YouTube, and formally embed creator access into rights frameworks for the first time. Meanwhile, Fox Sports' legacy deal — secured in 2015 for $485 million — has become what Observer describes as the broadcast bargain of the century, setting up dramatically higher price expectations in the next rights cycle.

  • 01FIFA secured broadcast agreements in over 220 territories, with a Dallas-based International Broadcast Centre distributing roughly 8,000 hours of additional non-live content, according to FIFA.
  • 02Fox Sports pays $485 million for US rights to a tournament Observer estimates is worth more than three times that figure — making it likely the last major sports broadcast deal secured at a deep discount.
  • 03FIFA's first-ever global creator programme and a preferred-platform deal with YouTube — allowing broadcasters to stream the first 10 minutes of every match plus select full games — mark a structural shift in how rights are packaged.
