For two decades, Zygo has been a tour-de-force in the optics industry, creating custom optical products that have revolutionized fields from life sciences to medical technology. Their technical competence is globally recognized and has firmly established Zygo as a trusted brand for optical metrology and fabrication.

The Zygo secret recipe combines expertise, experience, and an unyielding passion for optical innovation. Their comprehensive capabilities span the full spectrum of optical production, from conception to completion, supporting any optical product that can be envisaged.

A crucial ingredient in Zygo’s success recipe is their close collaboration with customers from the get-go. Each project kicks off with an in-depth discussion to understand the customer’s vision, their design origins, and the destination they seek. This early involvement enables Zygo to translate the customer’s aspirations into a tangible, high-performance prototype.

Beyond prototype development, Zygo’s process seamlessly transitions into production. A unique facet of Zygo’s production process is the integration of metrology throughout the entire chain. Zygo’s prowess in optical system design and development for metrology is manifested in their Zygo interferometers. These offer a diverse range of wavelengths, providing the flexibility needed to design custom metrology tools that can precisely measure and guarantee system performance as per customer requirements.

Further establishing their reliability, Zygo operates under the stringent guidelines of ISO 9001 and 13485. The latter is a testament to Zygo’s commitment to the medical industry, demonstrating their capability to produce products at the quality level expected in such a critical field.

What makes Zygo an ideal partner for researchers and manufacturers is their proven track record in optical design and assembly. Their robust design and development processes, coupled with half a century of business experience, equips them to take on complex measurement challenges that others might falter at.

Zygo leverages its exceptional interferometry expertise, available both in Middlefield and in Richmond, to ensure reliable, compliant, and cost-effective performance. Their ability to swiftly transition from specifications to prototypes, delivering high-quality outcomes on the first attempt, underscores why Zygo remains one of the most dependable partners in the industry, particularly for the medical field.

As the industry has come to from Zago, our technical competence is world class. Our team has been making custom optical products for twenty years, bringing a winning combination of knowledge, experience, and passion to realizing world changing optical products in the medical and life sciences industries. Zygo is the brand you trust for optical metrology and fabrication. We can produce anything from a to z. Zygo is one of the most trusted brands in optics. We have the talent and experience to produce just about any optical product that could be imagined. From the very beginning, we wanna start off with a very detailed discussion with the customer and understanding what the future state that they want is. Okay. So we wanna know what their design, why they arrived with their their basic design concept, and where do they need to go. We are capable of designing a product and then putting it into a prototype build. And realizing the performance that the customer is looking for at the prototype phase. After the prototype phase is proven out for the first time, and then putting it into a prototype type of build and realizing the performance that the customer is looking for at the prototype base. After the prototype phase is proven out, and we go ahead and go into production. One important thing about our production process is metrology is integrated through out the entire chain. And because we're Zygo, we are very deep in our ability to design and develop optical systems for metrology part of the overall program. We have our Zygo interferometers. We have every wavelength that you can imagine. One of our keys to success is being able to look at the performance requirements the customer is looking for and design custom metrology tools to measure those performance attributes to guarantee that system meets the requirement. This facility is both ISO nine thousand one and thirteen forty five. ISO thirteen forty five is part of our quality system and allowing us to work in the medical industry and having the quality system necessary to show that we can produce the products to the level that they need us to. It's important that researchers and manufacturers have a partner that they can count on to get the design right and to be a trusted long term supply With Zygo's decades of expertise in optical design and assembly and fifty years in business, we remain one of the most reliable partners for the medical require difficult measurements, measurements that perhaps other companies would struggle in obtaining or controlling on their own. We've had access to the best interferometry expertise in Middlefield as well as in Richmond in the Bay Area. Our medical and life science customers rely on us to provide consistent compliant devices with cost effective performance. We employ a battle hardened design and development processes to move from spec to prototypes quickly, and we deliver it right the first time.
