Hello, everyone, and welcome to another episode of curve beam connect, a curved beam podcast I'm your host, Daniel Litwin, the voice of B2B and folks, thank you so much for joining us on another episode of the show, and today's episode is a bit of a curve beam news update with a major announcement that we're very, very excited to share. So if you're a tapped in member of our curve beam network, you may remember our virtual conferences and it's been a dream of ours to bring these conferences to the physical world so that we can build community and engage more directly with our users who are setting standards for orthopedic care every day. So today we're excited to announce that we've finally made that dream a reality. October 17 to the 19th and beautiful Kent island, Maryland. We're going to be hosting our first in-person user conference. Now, I don't want to spill all the info just yet and take the wind out of our guests sails, so I will let her continue the excitement. So I'm pleased to welcome venti sing. She's director of marketing at curv beam venti. Great to have you on. are you doing today? Good afternoon, Daniel. I'm well, how are you doing? Great? it's always a pleasure getting to chat and I'm looking forward to this announcement. I know that there's a lot of thought that's gone into building out this user conference, and we just want to basically give our audience the rundown, how they can begin to prepare and what they can look forward to at the user conference. So let's get all the details. We'll start basic. What is the conference? Where is it when and give me a little bit of the basic structure overview as well? Yeah, thank you. So the conference is going to be held October 17 to 19 at the end of the Chesapeake bay, which is on Kent island, Maryland. It's this beautiful marina, so it's a perfect, secluded setting. It will a really nice getaway to have a very focused conversation with your peers. We're calling this weight bearing seat. New directions kind of going along with the Marina ship theme compass where we heading, but also because weight bearing seat is a relatively new technology. It's been around for about 10 years. And the early adopters gave it rave reviews, and now we're seeing it slowly move a little bit more into the mainstream. But as that happens, as it becomes more of an established technology, now we're asking questions that are deeper than does it work? What can I use it for? We've answered those questions now. We have to look at the bigger picture. So when it comes to questions about, say, billing and authorization, when it comes to utilization, how do I make sure that the system is being properly utilized by all of my providers in my network? How do I make sure that my refers are properly educated? How do I know that orthopedics and radiology are on the same page in terms of how we're reading these scans and how we're referring them to the radiology department from a regulatory perspective. Some of those issues surrounding just technologists and state requirements, federal requirements. So it'll be a discussion about all those things. But besides the nitty gritty will also be looking at some big picture and future topics, such as how weight bearing is revolutionizing everything from sports medicine to insole design to pediatric applications. Let's have those conversations and this is the forum to do that. Our new customers and also are our veteran customers, can come together and really learn how to make the technology take off in their practice. Which is exciting, and I at the last conference caucus that you and I were at, there was a lot of excitement from the orthopedic community around the innovations that the high rise is bringing to the field. And there's a lot of high level discussion about what the high rise specifically can do for orthopedic care. So I'm excited to see what all of the professionals coming together to discuss this at a major conference can do to push the industry forward. It really feels like this is going to be an important touchpoint for everyone. So folks, you don't want to miss it. I guess more concretely around the agenda of the show, how will those major trends translate into some of the events and conversations, maybe a breakout sessions that you're hoping to plan? Maybe more simply, what can folks expect at the actual show in relation to those major trends? Sure so we're lining up a really stellar agenda with some awesome speakers. We'll have a cocktail reception the first evening, which will be a great chance to network with other users. And then the following day we'll have a full day of sessions and where we're going to have three themes and inspirational theme, a clinical theme and an operational theme. So the operational is going to be hitting very practical subjects. We're hoping that attendees will be able to come away with immediate takeaways that they can implement in their practices for better utilization. Clinical will review again, not necessarily from a scientific or research perspective, but takeaways that you can take back to clinic the very next day. How you can start utilizing weight bearing CT imaging to maybe some indications that you didn't consider before, or how can I properly bill for this indication so that I can? I know that my thoughts aren't going to get denied. And lastly, inspirational, we have some customers who are doing some really neat things, from everything from custom insole design to changing the way that they're doing athletic evaluations for some, some pro athletes, a lot of different things. And so what are the next level or future applications that are actually happening already in some parts of the country, so so others can get inspired and maybe figure out how they could adopt those same applications within their own practices? So again, you know, when you've invested in weight bearing ct, you've made a major capital investment and you want to make sure that you're getting the most out of your system. So this will give you the tools and also hopefully you'll be able to make some contacts and some friends from around the country and maybe even around the globe who are trying to do the same things that you are. And we're just hoping to really foster community and allow our users to make those network connections and take their own practice to the next level with weight bearing CT. Very exciting stuff, very exciting stuff, I'm looking forward to seeing the full list of speakers and events at the conference, too. I'm also curious how you're engaging the community pre-show, right? Are you taking input from the community, from your network of surgeons and professionals on shaping the agenda in any way, even just kind of high level content direction? And if so, is there any way that our listeners can maybe get involved in that process or offer some ideas? Absolutely we are planning the agenda right now. So anyone out there, anyone in our customer base who thinks that they have a subject area or topic that they're passionate about that they'd like to share. We'd love to hear your ideas and see if we can include in the program. Also, if there are certain topic areas that you really want to make sure touched on areas where maybe your practice could really use some guidance and you want to see what others are doing, let us know and we can make sure that that's included in the agenda. So absolutely, if you're a customer and you're listening to this podcast, please email me directly. I'm at vintage sing at kerf. I would love to get your feedback. The agenda is being shaped right now, so this is the right time to get your voice heard. Love it. I love that you're including, folks, and again, don't miss this opportunity out there, audience, if you want to make this conference even more actionable for you and connect and share your expertise with the rest of your industry. This is the time to do so. It's the opportunity to jump in and curved beam connect, right? Pun intended. All right, vint, thank you so much for all your insights. Just to wrap up what's next for the conference, right? How can folks learn a little bit more? Where can they sign up for the show or for updates? How can they get in touch? So definitely follow that link. Make sure you express your interest. And again, this conference is not just for the orthopedic surgeons or the pediatric surgeons, it's also for the practice managers, for the radiologists, the technologists. We would really like to get a wide spectrum represented and multiple viewpoints represented so we can really have a holistic discussion about what makes weight bearing CT successful. Exciting stuff. And then if folks want to get in touch with you specifically venti anywhere, we should point them.
