In the sweltering heat of Tijuana summers, where temperatures often soar into the nineties and beyond, powerful cooling technology comes to the rescue to provide a comfortable working environment. Alliance Air Products, a versatile manufacturer of custom air handlers, recognized its need to provide a cooling solution for its Tijuana workers.

Alliance’s products, which generate a range of air conditions from cold to hot, dry to humid, cater to various industries, from hospitals and data centers to schools and small office buildings. This broad market reach is a testament to their adaptability and customer-centric approach.

“We don’t specialize in one specific market,” George Paiche, Director of Sales for Alliance Air Products, said. “I think that’s what makes Alliance Air products so unique because we’re able to accommodate pretty much all of our customer requirements out there.”

Alliance’s commitment to comfort extends beyond its product line, as evidenced by its partnership with Portacool. This collaboration, born out of a chance encounter at a trade show in Georgia, has resulted in implementing powerful cooling technology systems within their factory, ensuring their employees remain productive even in the height of summer.

“They’ve got great technology, they care about the environment, and they care about energy consumption,” Paiche said. “We use their evaporative media for a lot of the projects we do that need ‘cooling only’ type of solutions.”

The thing about Tijuana is summers can get into the nineties, even the low hundreds, and it a little bit tough out here and, you know, working here in the factory, it can get pretty hot. What we make here is custom air handlers. And what custom air handlers do is they make cold air, hot air, dry air, they make humid air. We serve the hospital industry, the data centers, schools, hotels, small office building, like commercial, light industrial. A little bit of everything. We don't really specialize in one specific market. And I think that's what makes alliance Air products so unique because we're able to accommodate pretty much all of our customer requirements out there. About three years ago, we attended an ash race show in Georgia and we walked into the cool booth. We immediately fell in love with these guys. I mean, they really are a superb company. They've got great technology. They care about the environment. They care about energy consumption. They wanna make sure that they can provide a product to their customers that they're gonna be completely satisfied with. It's really important to allow them to have a nice place to work. In the summer season, the weather is pretty hot. So hearing the plant, this can affect our workers because they can redo the the the productivity with the with the guys working here the plant. First of all, we use their evaporative media for a lot of projects that we do that need cooling only type of solutions. Second thing is in our factory, we use portable fan systems that use the same type of technology to keep our workers cool. Portugal fans, they're portable. We can move them ever we need to, we can have spot pulling. They're quiet. They work really, really well. Like I said, there can be days where it can get into the ninety degrees on the floor if we did not have some type of cooling mechanism to keep our employees comfortable. The great thing is our business is about heating and cooling. But we've partnered with Portugal and Coke to keep our employees cool.
