What EHS Professionals Can Expect from Safety Connect

On this episode of the Safety Justice League, Hosts Jason Lucas, Abby Ferri, and Jason Maldonado talked with Jamie Young, Co-Founder & COO, Safeopedia, and Scott Cuthbert, CEO, Safeopedia, a comprehensive online resource for safety professionals and decision-makers. The group talked about this year’s Safety Connect.

While the hosts thought things might be back in person this year, the event will be held virtually again in 2021. Safety Connect is a three-day Safety Virtual Conference and Expo. It brings together EHS professionals to learn, collaborate, connect, and have fun. This year it’s held on Oct. 19-21. This year’s Safety Connect will top last year’s in a few ways, including an updated prize wheel, new speakers, and new ways to engage with other attendees. The show started two years ago to enable guests to engage with the latest technology, industry trendsetters and learn about professional development.

“A lot of the other conferences had to pivot in 2020 and go virtual, and we attended them and helped host a few,” Cuthbert said. “The feedback we heard was that everybody wanted to engage and connect and have real interactions.”
