UAE – A COOL PLACE UNDER SCORCHING SUN THANKS TO POWER BREEZER, NOW EVEN COOLER

All around the globe, a blazing heatwave is occurring even in places where it is normally not very hot, such as Europe, Japan, and Canada, which set its all-time high temperature record in early July. According to the U.N., Sodankyla, Finland hit 89.2°F on July 17, which was a record for that location.

The headlines about these sizzling temperatures are not raising as many eyebrows in desert countries, however. Sweltering temperatures are the norm in these areas throughout most of the year.

United Arab Emirates – Where the Heat Is Always On

The UAE is located in the North East of the Arabian Peninsula and is made up of seven emirates: Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ra’s al-Khaimah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, and Fujairah.

It shares borders with Saudi Arabia and Oman. The UAE coast stretches for more than 404 miles along the southern shore of the Persian Gulf. South and west of Abu Dhabi, vast, rolling sand dunes merge into the Rub al-Khali (Empty Quarter) of Saudi Arabia. With a population of over nine million people, the UAE is booming. Its climate is very hot throughout the summer with high humidity in the coastal regions, while the winter is warm. In other words, the UAE has a desert climate with very little natural relief from the heat. August is the hottest month there, with an average temperature of 96°F. The coldest is January at 64°F.

Tourism, Construction, Manufacturing Going Strong

With the extraction of crude oil and natural gas being the strongest industry segment, tourism, construction and manufacturing are going strong in the UAE. In fact, tourism accounts for more than 10% of its GDP. Over 12 million tourists visit the UAE each year with Dubai being the main attraction. Construction is also vital to this rapidly growing economy. The same applies to manufacturing. Both industry segments contributed in 2014 with 9% to the GDP.

All of these industries in the UAE’s desert climate require cooling options for workers and visitors alike. Central air conditioning often is not available. This is particularly true when it comes to outdoor or partially covered spaces such as construction sites, building projects, hospitality events, outdoor functions, sporting games, and tournaments. Portable Breezer Mobile Cooling products are perfect for these environments, with a long history of providing effective climate control solutions in a variety of applications.

A Powerful Solution for Mobile Climate Control

When it comes to mitigating the effects of high temperatures and humidity in the globe’s hot spots, Breezer Mobile Cooling has two options, both of which provide a quick ROI. The portable, installation-free Power Breezer provides powerful eco-friendly cooling for up to five hours. The compact O2 is perfect for smaller locations where reliable cooling is needed.

Breezer Mobile Cooling products are available worldwide to instantly mitigate heat and improve productivity, safety, and comfort. Contact our UAE office at +971-527222377 for all your cooling needs or visit breezercooling.com for more information.
