Why Energy Providers Should Partner with LED OEMs

New advances in smart and sensor-controlled lighting have made LED technologies more efficient and cost-effective than ever. In fact, it makes good sense for smart and sensor-controlled lighting to start becoming an industry standard, rather than just an option, to ensure that energy consumption is as low as possible. Unfortunately, much of the general public is unaware of these amazing advances and the potential for cost and energy saving. Better education about LED technology is a must to get the word out and increase public interest and awareness, and energy providers are the perfect conduit.

Most people who have purchased lightbulbs are familiar with terms like “wattage.” But LED lighting has other terms such as “lumen,” “Kelvin,” and “CRI” that are probably unfamiliar to most. As such, most consumers will continue to purchase the lighting solutions that they are familiar with, even though they may be less efficient and more expensive in the long run. Energy Service Companies (ESCOs) can increase public awareness and access to LED technology as they work with consumers to provide cost-effective, energy efficient retrofits across a variety of client facilities. Wave-LED is the perfect partner to help accomplish this.

ESCOs are commercial businesses that provide a broad range of energy solutions including designs and implementation of energy-savings projects, performance contracting, retrofit upgrades, energy conservation, epower generation and energy supply, and risk management.

A large part of this includes the billions they spend each year on energy efficiency retrofit LIGHTING projects. As the primary advocates for energy saving projects and services, ESCOs are supremely capable of putting efficient LED technology into the hands, and houses, of consumers.

Long lasting, energy efficient LED technology is powerful, flexible, and perfect for ESCO’s and their clients to save money. Wave-LED is ideally suited to help make this partnership successful. We are an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of LED solutions able to design, test, and develop products tailored to our customer’s needs. We are flexible enough to meet customer specific requirements while keeping up with the fast-paced, ever-changing demands of this industry. On top of all these flexible services, our entire product range is built from the ground up for peak energy efficiency, quality and sustainability.

ESCO’s need to work directly with OEMs to ensure that they are receiving the highest quality products and the peak of industry technology at the very lowest prices. They also need to ensure that these products are thoroughly tested, certified and produced by manufacturers that are equally vetted and accredited.

Wave-LED offers clients a full range of OEM services with the flexibility to provide low MOQ’s or large-scale orders thanks to our long-term relationships with some of the world’s largest lighting manufacturers. This allows us to offer flexible supply chain solutions including package design and stable pricing. We also work with fully accredited, industry-leading factories and provide full certification including ETL, UL, CUL, and DLC, while a team of independent inspectors performs all our quality control to ensure the highest levels of excellence at all times.
