Any administrator or parent in this school system will tell you that safety for the children is paramount. When a safe environment is achieved, children are free to learn and explore. Let's hear from Avers own Shop Talk on how easy it is to use their PTZ cameras as a simple security solution for your classroom. Hi. Did you know it's easy to set up your PTZ camera as an example, the d l thirty to record your classroom movements or to use it as a simplified security camera. So if you're using your d l thirty in a p t z management software, let me show you how to set that up. So once you've launched the p t z management software, This is what you're going to see. I have this connected using the ethernet cable, which is going to be an important process. So be sure to have this connected using the ethernet cable. Once you've done that, you could go to management. Under management, you see that we have cruise, we have recording, system notifications, firmware update and scheduling. The two that we're going to take a look at is cruise and recording. Now cruise means that wherever your presets are, example, preset number one is going to be the front window, preset number two is going to be the the door, preset number three is going to be the teacher desk. Those are the presets that the camera is going to cruise to. So hopefully that made sense. So what we end up doing is right here where you see the three dots, you click on that, And as you can see, I have go to preset number two and time for five seconds. Pre set number four is gonna stay there for three So you could go ahead and select and include as many presets as you want. Once you've done that, click save. And then you want to go ahead and click enable. So once you've done enable, click save again, and then you come to recording This is gonna be also very important. If you wanna put this in a specific folder or an ex external hard drive, be sure to click the three dots right here. And select where you want the recording to be saved. For me, I'm using the video folder on my c drive. K. And then once we've done that, we just go ahead and select enable and click save. Soon as we do that, it begins recording. So it'll go to preset number four, for three seconds, preset number two, for five seconds, or whatever you have that Now when you're finished doing that, you could go ahead and come back to where it says cruise, and go ahead and click disable, save, recording, and we want to be sure to disable it right there and click save. Now we can now go ahead and take a look in our folder for the recordings that we have. So let's go ahead and take a look here. As I mentioned, I have mine on the c drive, and it is in the video folder. So I've come to where it says videos, and I have it specifically in the PTC management recordings. Double click on that. Here's my folder, and here are the recordings or the recording, depends on how many times you've done that. So double click here. And this shows the actual recording. And there you go. This is what has just been recorded. I'm gonna go ahead and stop that. And as you can see, you can use this for a simplified security camera in your classroom if you would like to do so. Thanks for watching. If you have any questions, Please let me know. My name is Chuck Tuck. You can reach out to me directly at Chuck period Tuck. That's t like Tom, u c k at aver dot com. Until next time. Thanks for watching.
