AUVSI North Carolina is back again this month with their most popular Educational Series in Unmanned Systems. The focus of this month is FAA Waivers & Authorization.

The Federal Aviation Administration has put certain rules in place for commercial and government drone pilots in order to make sure that they can fly safely in the national airspace. Certain requirements can be temporarily waived or authorized, which allows for more flexibility in how drone pilots can fly legally.

This 60 min session session will discuss everything you need to know about Part 107 authorizations and waivers, including COAs, LAANC and Tactical BVLOS. It’s very important for drone pilots to stay current with all this information. The session will be followed by Let’s Talk Drones starting at 4pm where we have Q&A, global and national drone news and ask us anything.
