To have a workflow so that you make sure that you are getting the most out of this AI visibility tool that you have right in Studio. So let me show you what I would do if I was you on a monthly and weekly basis. Let's jump right in. So let's go right into our AI visibility tool. Perfect. And then you see that it brings us to the dashboard. We can get that high level overview at any time. What I'm gonna do on a monthly basis. Now I'm gonna come in here, and I am going to go over to my tools on the left hand side. I'm gonna go to my AI visibility report, and I'm gonna ask it to generate this report for me. So all I need to do is type in my website and hit generate report. And then like it says, go grab a cup of coffee because it takes a couple of minutes to generate this report for you. Once your report is generated, then you can download that and share it out with your team, with your boss, your senior executives. They're gonna be really impressed at what this report shows. And if you keep generating this and taking a look at it month by month, you'll see where you've made improvements, what places you can make other improvements, how that score has changed over time. So this is a great place to get a sanity check. Once a month is probably good. You can do it as often as you'd like. So the other thing that I'm going to want to do on a monthly basis is review my prompts. So if you come over here to the left hand side, you can click on prompts, and you can see what the AI tool is working on for you. I can look at my prompts. If these all look good to me, great. If there's something else that I wanna add, then I can go ahead and add those in. So we have some tools that are very helpful for that as well. Take a look over here on your prompt research under tools. So you can use this people also ask tool to take a look at what other prompts you might wanna add into the system. Okay. So let's take a look here. Now let's say that I am interested in data centers. I can add that keyword, and then I could also add data center water usage. Add that as a keyword, and then I go next, and then the tool is gonna work its magic. And you'll see some prompts, and this is pulled in from what people are actually asking out on the Internet. So I'm gonna review this. Are these things that I want to have in my prompts for my AI visibility tool to be looking at and comparing how our content and our videos and our website is stacking up. So I'm gonna look through this. Maybe I wanna bring all of them in. Maybe I want to uncheck some of them, so I might uncheck this one. And then I'm gonna click next. And then I'm going to review this one last time and have it go ahead and create those prompts for me. So now it's going to add those in. The other thing that I want to check-in at least on a monthly basis is this market landscape. Again, I'm looking at this, how I'm stacking up against my competitors, but what I love to do again is dive a little deeper on a monthly basis at least here and take a look at these different dimensions. Okay. So there's lots to look at here, but what's really important to you? Okay. So for let's say for AMD, if they're talking about data centers, then I would think that trust is important. I would think that reputation is important. So I can look and see how I'm stacking up against my competitors there and where I might wanna make some moves. So I might wanna create more content around trust, around reputation. So these are just some things that you can look at and be aware of on a monthly basis. Now what am I gonna do weekly? Okay. I'm going to make sure if this is my tool, I am gonna log in first thing Monday morning. And first thing I'm going to do is take a look over here on the left at the sentiment tool. This is a great tool built in for you, and you need to be checking this because the green is great, makes you feel good. That pink and that red, that's where you need to pay attention. And negative sentiment out there can really snowball on you fast, so you want to make sure that you are aware where that's coming from. Very important that you take a look at this sentiment because the AI factors that in when it's deciding what companies it's going to highlight in its answers and its citations. So the sentiment report becomes very important. Make sure you're tracking that at least on a weekly basis. Now the next thing that I'm gonna do, and you know that I love this, are recommendations under actions. Take a look at this. And one thing you should know is this updates weekly. So if there are things that you are seeing in here that you wanna make sure you're going to add to your to do list, but you don't think you can get to it this week, you don't wanna lose it when the AI goes out and pulls in more recommendations, and maybe it will decide to move that one down the list, you wanna go ahead and grab that. So let's go ahead and look at this particular piece of content that it says is a high priority content creation for me. So I'm gonna click into that card to get a lot more information, and I'm gonna make sure that I've got this covered, that I copy all of this into a task. And we've got that built into Studio for you as well. So let here we go. I'm just gonna copy everything all the way down through my action items. So I'm gonna just copy that, and then I'm gonna jump over here to my task, hold down my control key so it opens in a separate window, and you'll see that it takes me right to my task tool, again, built right into Studio for you. I'm gonna create this new task. I'm just gonna go ahead and paste that in there in the description, and I'm going to use this as the name so I remember what I'm working on. I'm gonna call this content creation and paste that in. So there I have my detailed action items that I want to make sure that I have included in my task. I'm gonna give that a start date of today, and I'm gonna give myself a couple of weeks to work on that because I know I can't get to it today. Alright. So I'm gonna assign that to myself, and I'm gonna give it a high priority because the tool told me this is a high priority for me. So I'm gonna go ahead and hit create task. Now that's gonna create a task for me. I'll get an email so that I have a link to that, and I can make sure that I follow-up on that content creation. So that's what I would make sure that I'm doing at least on a weekly basis with this tool to get the most value out of the AI visibility tool. There's lots of other stuff you can dig into here, and I'd love to help you out with that, and so would your market scale point of contact. So be sure that you're talking to them about the tool and how you can make the best use out of this tool for your company.
Overview
This 7-minute training with Lea Johnson covers the full operational cadence for using the AI Visibility tool inside MarketScale Studio. The video walks through two distinct rhythms: a monthly workflow focused on generating reports, reviewing prompts, and analyzing market landscape data, and a weekly workflow centered on monitoring sentiment, reviewing recommendations, and converting action items into Studio tasks. Together, these routines help program operators maintain consistent visibility performance over time.
What Is This?
The AI Visibility Score is a measure of how prominently a brand or program appears across AI-generated search and discovery surfaces. Managing this score requires a structured, repeatable workflow — not one-time audits — so that content and messaging stay aligned with how AI systems surface relevant expertise.
What You'll Learn
- Generate an AI Visibility Report on a monthly cadence inside MarketScale Studio
- Review and interpret prompts surfaced through the People Also Ask feature
- Analyze the Market Landscape view to understand competitive visibility positioning
- Monitor the Sentiment tool weekly to track how brand perception is trending
- Review platform Recommendations and prioritize the most impactful actions
- Copy action items directly into the Studio Task tool to keep execution on track
Key Insights
- A consistent monthly and weekly cadence is what separates programs that improve their AI visibility from those that plateau after initial setup.
- The People Also Ask feature surfaces real prompt language that AI systems use — making it a direct input for content planning.
- Sentiment monitoring on a weekly basis catches perception shifts early, before they affect visibility scores in a meaningful way.
- The Studio Task tool transforms visibility insights from passive data into assigned, trackable work — closing the loop between analysis and execution.
Deep Dive
AI visibility is not a static metric. It reflects how well a brand's content, messaging, and authority signals align with the queries and prompts that AI-powered search and discovery tools are actively processing. Because those prompts evolve, maintaining a strong AI Visibility Score requires an ongoing operational rhythm rather than periodic check-ins.
The monthly workflow establishes the strategic foundation. Generating the AI Visibility Report gives program operators a structured snapshot of where their brand stands across AI surfaces. Reviewing prompts through the People Also Ask feature provides direct insight into the language and questions AI systems are using to categorize and surface content. The Market Landscape analysis adds competitive context, helping teams understand not just their own score but how they're positioned relative to the broader conversation in their category.
The weekly workflow keeps that strategic direction connected to day-to-day execution. The Sentiment tool offers a near real-time signal about how a brand's presence is being interpreted across AI-generated outputs. Shifts in sentiment — even subtle ones — can indicate that messaging needs adjustment or that new content opportunities have emerged. Reviewing Recommendations weekly ensures that the platform's guidance stays current and actionable rather than accumulating unread.
What makes this workflow particularly effective is the final step: copying action items into the Studio Task tool. This move transforms data review into assigned work with clear ownership. Without that handoff, visibility insights tend to remain observational. With it, they become part of a program's regular content and communications operations — which is where real improvement happens.
Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I generate an AI Visibility Report in MarketScale Studio?
The recommended cadence is once per month. Monthly generation gives you enough time for content and messaging changes to register in the data while still maintaining a consistent feedback loop. Running it more frequently than that can make trend analysis difficult.
What is the People Also Ask feature and how does it help with AI visibility?
People Also Ask surfaces the specific prompts and questions that AI systems associate with your brand or category. Reviewing these prompts monthly helps you understand the exact language AI tools use to surface relevant content, which directly informs how you should frame your messaging and topic coverage.
Why is the Studio Task tool important to the AI Visibility workflow?
The Studio Task tool converts visibility insights and platform recommendations into assigned, trackable action items. Without this step, analysis rarely translates into execution. Copying recommendations into tasks ensures that visibility improvements are treated as operational work, not just reporting.
