Sales enablement platforms could hit $25.65B by 2034

Key takeaways

01

Cloud is projected to account for 83.85% of the market in 2026, according to Fortune Business Insights.

02

If the platform is expected to serve sales, marketing, and customer success, Gartner’s REP definition implies your integration spec has to cover SFA/CRM and marketing automation from day one, not as phase two.

Fortune Business Insights valued the global sales enablement platform market at USD 6.13 billion in 2025 and projected it to grow to USD 7.20 billion in 2026 and USD 25.65 billion by 2034, a 17.20% CAGR over the forecast period.

Gartner frames a related category, “revenue enablement platforms,” as SaaS platforms with mobile capabilities that support multiple customer-facing revenue roles.

The market’s growth is tied to cloud standardization and AI features

Fortune Business Insights projects cloud deployments to account for 83.85% of the market in 2026. Large enterprises are expected to represent 62.23% share in 2026, according to the same report.

According to Fortune Business Insights, North America dominated the sales enablement platform market with a 37.00% share in 2025. Fortune Business Insights reports 2025 market values of USD 2.27 billion for North America, USD 1.69 billion for Asia Pacific, and USD 1.41 billion for Europe.

Gartner’s REP definition raises the bar for integration and governance

On the buy side, the category language is shifting from “sales enablement” to “revenue enablement,” and that shift has practical consequences for RFPs. According to Gartner, revenue enablement platforms are SaaS platforms that unite sales and customer-facing enablement and revenue functions across roles such as sales, customer success, marketing, partners, and presales, with mobile access and capabilities including digital content, learning, practice and coaching, engagement analytics, and AI and conversational intelligence.

Gartner also notes that REPs integrate with sales force automation (SFA) or marketing automation platforms and provide buyer engagement analysis and content effectiveness measurement. If a team is standardizing on a REP, “we’ll integrate later” stops being a realistic implementation plan. The REP becomes a system of record for enablement content and activity, and it has to connect cleanly to CRM/SFA, marketing automation, and data warehouses where performance reporting lives.

Procurement signal: shortlists are forming around a few highly referenced suites

In the revenue enablement platforms category on Gartner Peer Insights, Seismic Enablement Cloud shows a 4.6 rating with 330 ratings, and Showpad shows a 4.7 rating with 293 ratings.

Fortune Business Insights lists established players including Seismic, Highspot, Mindtickle, Bigtincan, and ClearSlide, and ties their roadmaps to AI-driven innovation and deeper CRM and marketing automation integrations. Gartner’s REP framing aligns with that direction: platform buyers are effectively purchasing an integration and governance story as much as a content library.

Where this lands in 2026 enablement rollouts

  • Ask vendors to map their revenue enablement platform or sales enablement platform data model to your CRM objects and marketing automation taxonomy before contracting. Gartner’s definition says these platforms integrate with sales force automation or marketing automation platforms.
  • Treat “cloud-first” as the default and document exceptions. Fortune Business Insights projects cloud at 83.85% of the market in 2026.
  • Define one adoption metric. Gartner’s definition includes buyer engagement analysis and measuring content effectiveness.
