St. Paul, MN – The Minneapolis Star Tribune has named IC System one of Minnesota’s Top 200 Workplaces. Minnesota employees were surveyed about their employers, and 200 businesses across the state were selected. A complete list of the businesses is available in the Star Tribune and appeared in the newspaper’s Top Workplaces special section on Sunday, June 19.
The Star Tribune’s Top Workplaces award acknowledges the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction. The analysis included responses from thousands of employees at Minnesota businesses, including public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
“Having IC System listed among the Star Tribune’s Top 200 Workplaces is such an honor,” said John Erickson, President and CEO. “We’re in the third generation of family ownership at IC System, so I’m happy to carry on my family’s tradition of giving people a place where they enjoy working. As a result, our employees tend to feel like they’re part of a family.”

The surveys to compile the rankings of the Star Tribune Top 200 Workplaces are collected by Energage, an independent organization specializing in employee engagement and retention.
To qualify for the Star Tribune Top Workplaces, a company must have more than 50 employees in Minnesota. Thousands of companies were invited to participate. The rankings were based on composite scores calculated based on employee responses.
IC System ranked 42nd in the midsize business category. The Star Tribune also named IC System a Top Workplace in 2017; a Top 150 Workplace in 2018, 2019, and 2020; and a Top 175 Workplace in 2021.
