Understanding your home value accurately is critical when planning to sell your home. Rob Jensen, Owner of Rob Jansen Company explains to the CoachYu Show why it’s a mistake to use Zillow to price your home.
He points out that Zillow uses square footage and recent sales prices to calculate a value for your property, but it doesn’t take into account the unique features of your home, such as recent renovations, interior details like pocket doors or a wine cellar, or exterior features like views, water features, or landscaping.
According to Jensen, Zillow may know a few things, but it doesn’t know what makes your home special. Therefore, relying solely on online estimates may not provide an accurate reflection of your home value.
