In a bid to enhance indoor air quality, Field Controls has unveiled its latest innovation, the Fresh Air Ventilation Control (FAVC). This intelligent control system effectively manages HVAC central fans to ensure optimal ventilation while meeting the standards set by ASHRAE 62.2-2010, 2013, and 2016. Not only does the FAVC prioritize air quality, but it also conserves energy and monitors other appliances.

Equipped with fresh air dampers or HRV/ERV systems, the FAVC provides seven to eight minutes of ventilation every thirty minutes, with the flexibility to adjust based on specific needs. Its built-in temperature and humidity sensors enable smart decisions, considering outside temperature levels and indoor relative humidity settings. However, the FAVC offers much more than just ventilation control.

The FAVC actively monitors enthalpy conditions and interfaces with multiple exhaust fans, intelligently adjusting to deliver optimal ventilation. It even responds to appliances such as clothes dryers, kitchen exhaust fans, and gas fireplaces, providing makeup air for a well-balanced indoor environment. Additional features include normal or economy operation modes and multiple climate application modes, allowing customization to suit various climates.

Setting up the Fresh Air Ventilation Control is a breeze, with user-friendly and intuitive controls. It comes preconfigured for multifamily homes but can be easily adjusted for single-family homes or any other ventilation requirement. With its innovative features and ease of use, the FAVC promises to revolutionize fresh air ventilation systems.
