In today’s “Did you know” segment, we’re going back to the basics to discuss the fundamental function of our exoskeletons: lifting support. German Bionic’s exoskeletons provide an impressive thirty kilograms (66 pounds) of weight compensation for each lift, greatly reducing strain on the wearer.

The exoskeleton’s gyroscope and sensors closely monitor the worker’s movements throughout the day. When bending down to pick up an object, the motors kick in and gently guide the worker back to an upright position, effectively supporting the load and preventing lower back strain.

Additionally, German Bionic’s exoskeletons feature a counterforce mechanism that assists workers when placing objects back down, such as moving items from a shelf to a pallet. This counterforce system applies resistance to the shoulders and thighs, guiding the worker’s movement and preventing undue stress on the lower back.

While these are the core functionalities of the exoskeletons, German Bionic offers numerous other features to enhance worker safety and efficiency. To learn more about these additional features, stay tuned to our “Did you know” series or visit germanbionic.com for more information.

On today's did you know, we're getting back to basics talking about the core function of our exoskeletons lifting support. Our exoskeletons provide thirty kilograms or sixty six pounds of weight compensation for every lift. Now how does that work? Basically, when a worker is working throughout the day wearing an exoskeleton, the gyroscope in the back and the sensors are following their movements. So when I go to bend something bend down and pick something up, I'm basically getting pulled back to that upright position through the motors. And the motors are taking the support of the box. That it's not causing strain on my lower back. Now we also have something to help when workers are going to pick something and put it back down, so maybe something from a shell. Putting it on the floor from the pallet to another pallet, we call that counter force. Basically, when I go to put this down, I'm getting resistance on my shoulders and on my thighs that are helping to guide me back down without putting strain on my lower back. Now, these are just the core functionalities of So skeleton, there's plenty of other features that come along with it. So to learn more about those features, be sure to continue following our Did you know series. Or check us out at germanbionic dot com.
