KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia, 1 November 2026 — Ten days after its official launch, The BrandLaureate Accreditation Council (TBAC), under The World Brands Foundation (TWBF), today reports 10 BRAND ALLIES on its public Registry and invites brands worldwide to start with a free Brand Health Check for TBAC | IBES - International Brand Excellence Standard.

TBAC | IBES was officially launched on the night of 22 October 2026 at The BrandLaureate BestBrands Awards 2026, hosted by TWBF at the Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The launch was covered in a PR Newswire Asia-Pacific release issued on 23 October 2026. TBAC | IBES is a brand excellence accreditation standard. It is not an award, and it is separate from The BrandLaureate awards.

As of 1 November 2026, the public BrandMark Registry at https://www.tbac.ac/registry lists 10 BRAND ALLIES across seven countries: Achievers Education Ltd (United Kingdom); BioDyslexia (Malaysia); Built for Capacity (United Arab Emirates); CEO Business School (Egypt); Cradle to Boardroom (India); European International University (France); I MAJU INTELEK (Malaysia); IKON SKILLS (Malaysia); Innovation Gate (United Arab Emirates); and The Resilient Learning Foundation (South Africa). A BrandMark remains valid for three years once earned.

TBAC is governed by a named Council under TWBF: Hon. President Emeritus Prof. Dr. KK Johan, World President; Dr. Chew Bee Peng, Honorable Chancellor; Ms. Hilary Ng, Chief Executive Officer; and Ky. Col. Prof. Dr. Edward Roy Krishnan, International Advisor. Independent peer review is supported by International Expert Reviewers in France, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, South Africa and Kenya.

"Being well known is not the same as being strong," said Hilary Ng, Chief Executive Officer of The World Brands Foundation (TWBF), custodian of TBAC | IBES. "After the award, how do we know our brand is truly healthy? And how do we prove it? Today, we answer that question."

TBAC | IBES asks brands to show evidence, not claims, across Six Trust Pillars: Brand Strategy and Position; Governance and Brand Care; Customer and Staff Experience; Money and Market Strength; New Ideas and Change; and Ethics, Environment, and Trust. Each pillar is scored from 1 to 5. Independent reviewers check the evidence. Brands that meet the standard earn a BrandMark at one of three tiers: Verified, Distinguished or Icon. BrandMark status can be checked publicly at https://www.tbac.ac/verification.

The accreditation journey has three steps: self-assessment as a BRAND ALLY; evidence as a Brand Aspirant; and independent review by a reviewer and the BrandMark Council. Most brands finish in 8 to 12 weeks. Large multi-country brands may take up to 16 weeks. The BrandLaureate has 20 years of awards heritage, with brands and leaders honoured in 80 countries.

Any brand can begin with the free Brand Health Check at https://www.tbac.ac/snapshot. It is a short self-check of about 24 questions that takes about 10 minutes. It does not lead to any BrandMark outcome. A one-page guide published on 31 October 2026 is available at https://tbacibes.wordpress.com/2026/10/31/tbac-ibes-on-one-page-start-with-your-free-brand-snapshot/. Brands can join the Brand Alliance at https://www.tbac.ac/join.
