During the audit, the team verified live, on-spindle CMM inspection results for 6061-T6 powertrain mounts manufactured using simultaneous 5-axis CNC machining. The inspected components achieved dimensional tolerances of ±0.006 mm, meeting the supplier’s audit criteria. The audit also covered LS Manufacturing’s quality and compliance processes, including IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certification, PPAP Level 3 documentation, First Article Inspection (FAI), and material and heat-treatment traceability.
